We really enjoyed our stay here! Just pop across the road to the Vic Markets! Short walk down town or take a tram! Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. Basic requriements, however kitchen facilities if you require. Beds comfy. Would stay here again

We stayed 6 night during the cup, had a room on the 9th floor but it was very noisy as it was opposite the kitchen, requested a change which they could offer after the second night, moved to the 12th floor which was superb, couldnt fault it. Great location to the vic market and good restaurants close by Will definatley... More

Hotel has a reasonably good location, and it's quite modern. I received a complimentary upgrade to Privileged Room (even the hotel was fully booked, which was a really nice gesture of the GM and actually the only positive thing about the hotel- this was above and beyond, because it was no higher class rooms availability - one extra star for... When we drove to the front of the hotel I was a little leery. We decided to stay. The room was small , the bathroom wasn't and the bed was comfortable. It had a nice little kitchen area. It might have lacked some dishes, however, all it took was a quick call to get more if needed. The desk staff... More

we stayed here for a week's holiday, very impressed by the friendly greeting at reception and the help to get us into a room ASAP as we were tired from travelling. our room on the 12th floor was small but decent and well presented. beautiful view out the window across to the docklands, there is building going on next door... Was advised this hotel was in the CBD, otherwise would not have selected this hotel. Man at reception didn't know what to say.. A simple sorry for the bad communication would have been fine! Was given Option for a queen bed or two single, and I wanted the singles but got the queen and had to be changed. $35 for... More

Dear 58james85, We are conveniently located in the CBD with close access to QV Markets and the shopping precincts. With regards to the deposit, the hotel releases any funds upon check out and it usually takes a couple of days for it to reappear on your statement. I apologize about the miscommunication you received during your stay from our team.... More

As a business traveller, you don't expect a great deal from a hotel, but it's nice when expectations are exceeded, even marginally. Having stayed in quite a few Accor hotels recently, there is one universal trend - food is always a little bet better than average and service/cleanliness/room..well, not quite as good.
