SOMERSET SERVICED SUITES 19 Little Bourke St Melbourne PAID A$ 136 per night WONDERFUL This is in the extended street of Chinatown, very conveniently placed near the free tram circuit but also a short stroll to the City Centre shops. There are a lot of good varied restaurants very close by. The main building is a very sympathetically converted heritage... more

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The room was clean and spacious. We especially liked the prompt service when we ordered from the "pillow menu". Short walk to Chinatown and the City Circle tram, which was great for the kids. Aside from cooking facilities, the apartment had all towels, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Very comfortable place to stay.... more

This was a great place to stay. Only a short walk to China town and shopping. Really nice room... it was great to have a bedroom and a living room. Good sized TV, with options to watch new realease movies (i.e. ones not at the video store yet). Staff were really helpful as well. more

I booked into a two bedroom Executive apartment and after reading some reviews on here I wasn't expecting anything fancy. We were staying at this hotel for its ideal location rather than its ambience. However the hotel exceeded my expectations. The receptionists were lovely and very helpful. Our room was new, clean and fitted with modern appliances including a large... more

I scored a one-bedroom (studio?) apartment here on a hotel booking website for about $120 night during a football finals weekend in Melbourne. Awesome price, so maybe my review is clouded by the fact that I paid so little. First thing, YES you do have to check-in across the road and YES you do have to press a buzzer when... more

I stayed at Gordon Heights for a week in February on Business in a "One Bed Deluxe Apartment. I have previously stayed at the main Gordon Place across the road on several occasions over the last six years. The Annex is cheaper than the main building and it shows - it is the old Shoan Heights with a lick of... more

I stayed at Somerset Gordon Hights for 2 nights during October 2007 and paid $190AUD/night for a 1 bedroom apartment. This was our corporate rate, so you should be able to get a better price. The apartment had been recently refurbished, and everything was good as new. The lounge had a comfy sofa and large LCD television with a small... more

We stayed at the newly refurbished Somerset Gordon Heights in Melbourne. It was a really nice cosy room. Clean and fresh. Big Bathroom with towels provided. It included a good sized kitchen but we didnt use it as we only stayed one night. It is literally behind the Princess Theatre which is excellent if you are going to the 8pm... more

Stayed at the old "Shoan Heights" which is due for a makeover, due to start soon. The room was fairly small, in fact according to the plan it was one of the smallest rooms in the hotel but still more than adequate for the two of us. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Although the shower could have... more
