great location, a lot of construction going on around but not a problem, doesn't help the first impression from the street but this will be finished soon, our apartment looked good to start but a little disappointed as time went by, air conditioner was temperamental and had lots of bites when I got out of bed each morning (not nice).... Our one bedroom apartment was clean and well presented. Good price and central location...within easy walking distance of many attractions, for someone that hadn't been to Melbourne before. On the downside apartment was at back of building with only two windows that looked onto tall building walls, which were extremely close, making the apartment very claustrophobic and almost no natural... If location is the only thing going for it, there are others in the area. The building construction was NOT the problem. Reception was helpful but unfortunately doesnt make up for the extremely poor standards.

This was one of the cheaper hotels in Melbourne over the weekend, and boy did we find out why. Our "1 bedroom" was expectedly tiny but it was also, NOISY, DIRTY, and SMELLY! Though I do have to say the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My advice to anyone considering this hotel would be to look elsewhere.

The location was perfect and the construction work was not an issue . However upon entering the room a huge stain and rip in the carpet greeted us followed by a large burn hole in the bench top. The air conditioner rattled constantly and failed to cool the upstairs loft bedroom consequently we perspired all night due to the non... More

We stayed in one of the hotel's apartments for four days at the beginning of the week. We were a bit concerned from some of the reviews on the site (especially the one with pics of bites), however, we couldn't be more happy with our stay. The girls on reception were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the... More

Stayed here on the weekend and was disappointed in how run down the hotel was. On top of this there were building works going on all night long outside which we were not made aware of before booking - impossible to sleep. Way too expensive for standard of room. Would not stay there again even though great location...

Apart from location, it was dreadful. The TV worked intermittently on only 2 channels; the air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer (not joking, I took a video of it); I washed every item I used; and had to ask for a skillet to use in the kitchen. Not surprisingly, the fire alarm went off as soon as I used... More

We stayed here 3 years ago and it was good. Nice apartment with small balcony, clean. So we went back... bad mistake. We had a first floor apartment with a view of the side of a carpark but that's ok, we could cope with that. When I booked I asked for 2 singles and a pull out couch as I... More
