I recently stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments on the 19th floor with 6 friends. We booked our accommodation back in September and right from the time of booking the level of service was unprofessional to say the least. We were overcharged our deposit, but rectified after checking our credit card statement and no receipt received even after... More

Beautiful apartments, location & views. Not much in the way of toddler friendly eatery's(playgrounds) nearby but lots restaurants & sights to see. We were there in the height of Summer so it was difficult to explore to much with a toddler, but inside the apartment was such a relief with the aircon & use of the pool. Also, a short... More

We stayed with friends for a football weekend. Location was fantastic, straight off freeway and your there. Edihad was just a short walk, with no driving and not having to find parking or worry about public transport took a lot if pressure off. Shopping at Harbour Town was a short walk and if you want the city circle tram is... More

Recently stayed and was quite disappointed with the level of maintenance to the room, cleanliness and in light of this, the price. Have a fabulous meal by the bay and don't waste your money on staying here.

A total of 4 of us stayed in an apartment earlier this year. This apartment was well kept and allowed us to easily catch public transport into the main city. The rooms were nice, second room was a bit small. The only downfall was the shower, very temperamental and not very comfortable. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay for the... More

I have never checked into a hotel where the staff are so rude at the desk. first impressions, this place is a joke. they would do better to realise given the economic climate that it pays to have GREAT staff on the desk not bitter young women that don't seem to like their job. I had a 2 bedroom apartment... More

Stayed in a 2-bed, 2-bathroom apartment on level 15 of the Arkley block. Overall the apartment was great for us (family of 4) with loads of space, 2 good bathrooms and a full kitchen. We had a harbour view which was beautiful and the free tram stopped very close by. Minor complaints would be the distance from reception to the... More

Last visit was with my wife in November 2012. An overseas friend joined us there for a few days. Again, we were NOT disappointed. OK, we were not up near the new building area but sorry, I have lunch in my home city sometimes and suffer that. The convenience is great - trams within spitting distance, the security, full kitchen... More

Arrived to have an enjoyable few nights for New Years, location was perfect for New Year's Eve. Was checked in by one of the managers that was incompenent in doing so, took well over 30minutes to check in. When finally arrived in room the the hotel booklet was out of date and targeted at a sister hotel. The television does... More

Having stayed in the Docklands many times before, this was the first time I have stayed in the Grand Mercure Apts. & definitely the last. Dirty room (dishes from last guest/garbage not done), NO view other than construction site that fired up each morning at 545am! Parking allotment ended up in a $66 fine as misunderstanding of three spaces to... More
