Paul did a fantastic job of looking after us during our 3 nights in Melbourne. He went out of his way to accommodate our unusual check in and out times. Looking after our bags during the day for our late flight out. Room was tidy and clean and the seperate private bathroom was not a problem, in fact it was... More

Everything about this stay was perfect from the lovely room and firm bed to Paul's excellent cooked breakfasts. He even did some of my washing for me which I really appreciated as I had had red wine thrown all over me on the plane! I will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you very... More

A really nice hotel which was a different from the norm. Set in an old bakery, Paul will ensure that your visit to Melbourne will be one to remember. Breakfasts are really good and sat round a large table with the other guests is a real treat. The hotel is close to the brilliant tram system and there is even... More

We liked this B&B in Melbourne. It is situated close to the grid ( city center of Melbourne). Within walking distance there are a number of interesting spots to see. And there is always the free number 35 tram, that will take you around. Nice spacious room, good breakfast, helpfull host Paul. You do have your own bathroom, but you... More

Travelling on my own, Paul made me feel most welcome. When on my last day in Melbourne I tore my meniscus Paul took me to the hospital and even went out to get me something to eat in the evening. It felt like staying with an old friend.

Diana S, I hope your knee (and you) have recovered from your torn meniscus! Thank you for uploading your review and mentioning the assistance I gave you during your stay. I'm here to help, as much as possible. I was pleased to read that you thought staying at RITC was like "staying with an old friend." Best wishes, Paul. More

This is a very interesting hotel is in an old bakery built in the 1800's. It is located on the periphery of the business district which is very convenient. The rooms are OK but not great -- the private bath is across the hall and the fridge is downstairs. What makes this place great is the innkeeper - Paul. As... More

Ralph S, I would like to thank you for submitting your accommodation review of RITC. I was pleased to read that you enjoyed the location and my suggestions. I'm sorry to read that you thought the rooms were OK, rather than great. The fact that the private bathroom is across the hall is one that we dont hide and it... More

Cannot speak highly enough of Robinson's in the City. Paul was absolutely wonderful - friendly, helpful, and great knowledge of the local area. He gave us tips for where to head for dinner, how to get to the wedding we were going to in another part of the city, and just generally went above and beyond to make sure we... More

We had a great time staying at Robinsons! Great spot, nice and close to a tram stop just a short walk down the street. Paul the host was very friendly and offered to help us out with anything from finding somewhere to have dinner to working out what activities to do to fill our day. The building itself was very... EmLikesToTravel, Thank you for your online review. I was pleased to read that you would definitely stay again and that you liked our location, my suggestions and the room and building itself. The communal fridge does work well if a little inconvenient. But I think its a better option that a noisy fridge compressor in the room. Cheers, Paul. More

Fantastic location right on edge of the city centre, where the free city tram is easily is accessible. From there we could access QVM, CBD, Dockloads easily. Paul the host was enthusiastic and friendly, and can cook a good hot brekkie. Amenities is a good balance between modern and traditional. The B&B itself was an 18th-century bakery and along with... I have really mixed emotions about our stay here. A bit pricey in hindsight. Location was perfect for our needs. Our host, Paul was friendly, accomodating and informative. Room and separate bathroom were clean and comfortable as were all parts of the house. The breakfast was incredibly disappointing. Maybe it was our fault as we were expecting more than toast,... Wayne K, I have left it a little while to respond to your review, as it confuses me. I guess like it did you as you say you had "mixed emotions". The breakfast is 50% of our accommodation category (Bed & Breakfast), so it is crucial to our success, and given the reviews pre and post yours mentioning my breakfast... More
