We stayed for 3 nights during the Australian Open in January. The location was really good as it was close to all the action. The room itself was small and pretty basic, though clean. The breakfast was ok, nothing extra ordinary. The hotel is more like a 3 star rather than a 4 star as everything was pretty basic. I... More

We stayed one night in a standard room. Staff on check-in were friendly and helpful, and the same on checkout. The room was small, but okay for an overnight stay - I think it would be cramped for a longer stay, though. It was clean and fresh. We were both surprised (and pleased) at how quiet the room was: even... More

Located centrally this place was excellent. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Got a good price booking it as a mystery hotel. We had no view out our window but otherwise great. TV didn't show all channels.

Our check in went very smoothly. Reception accommodated us with an early (noon) check in and a late (noon) which was greatly appreciated. We snacked at the hotel cafe before attending a business meeting. The cafe was busy and sometimes congested, located in front of reception. Our dinner room device was very good and prompt. The disappointment was with the... More

If it's location you want then it's difficult to beat , but it's a basic and pretty tardy hotel, not much above 3star

The passageways leading to the rooms may have been a little dull. A few rooms had strange shapes and layouts, but I got one that was meant for wheelchair access and so the room was larger, but the bathroom did not have a shower curtain. The room was clean, the hotel well located. Internet access was spotty for certain devices.... More

I travelled with my 16 year old son and this hotel was central to everything. Although on Flinders Street noise could not be heard at all and we had a good nights' sleep. Breakfast was available but we found there were so many cafes nearby and cheap meals were easily found. The trams and station were so close we were... More

My husband and I (late 20's/ early 30's) stayed for 1 night on new years eve. We found check in very easy and was surprised when we eventually opened our room door to see quite a large room. It's not overly modern but clean and in good condition. The bathroom was quite large too. Bed comfortable and had a little... More

Mattress in bad shape (condition), rooms with no windows, ordinary breakfast with not many choices and same breakfast menu for four days in a row, it's not a sign of 4 star hotel at all

To start with we got given the wrong room. I didnt want single beds specifically when i asked for a king bed. The bed side lamps didnt work when i enquired about getting new bulbs the front desk staff were very rude and kept implying the reason why they weren't working was the key card wasn't in the slot by...
