It's simple and has a great location. Not the cleanest place I've stayed but handy to the 'MCG' I also got a late checkout which was very much appreciated! Parking included which makes it even better value.

Stayed here Grand Final weekend. For the price was not expecting 5 star and didn't get 5 star! Yes it is old and tired and in desperate need of upgrade but it was clean and the staff polite even letting us into our room at 8am!!!!! Great location and would go back without expecting 5 stars at 2.5 star prices!

my wife and i stayed here for 5 nights, property is fairly old, but the room was clean, staff very helpfull and is in a fantastic position, will stay again. we are both around the 60 age.i will be back to stay when the football season starts as it is so close to the MCG. pubman33

This hotel is badly in need of repairs and general maintenance. In saying this, they were starting some repair work while we stayed there. Showers leaked, sinks leaked (and had towells under the leak!) , light bulbs were broken, mold in the bathrooms, railing was broken, bricks loose on interior walls, bunks squeaked all night (wirh our children on them),... Mould on bathroom walls, outdated everything, electric wires cut off and left hanging out of wall, toilets with stains, sheets were stinking. The only thing we enjoyed about it, it was 500m away from the MCG. Other than that it's terrible.
