Very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Melbourne. Good value for money for what it is. Wonderfully located close to Southern Cross, easy access to Etihad and about 30 minutes walk down to Rod Laver Arena.

Having not visited Melbourne before we found the staff at the Ibis really helpful with information on what to do and how to get to certain places. Although it is not located right in the centre of the CBD, it was really close to the bus, tram and train station. The room although small was very neat and tidy. Great... More

This was a great find for a short trip to Melbourne. Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Southern Cross Train Station and several tram stops, transportation was not a problem. Also there's outlet shopping next to the train station and a good size supermarket. Room was clean and a good size - compared to hotels in Europe the room... More

Brilliant little hotel, so close to the main railway/coach station and central Melbourne. Ideal for sightseeing. Everything you need they have got it. Raining? Buy a raincoat at reception. Forgotten essentials? They have got it at reception. . Lovely friendly staff who made us very welcome. Breakfast available.

A small hotel that is located close to the Southern Cross Train and Bus station, with very welcoming staff, very clean rooms with comfy beds, and lovely breakfast facilities. Located Close to all public transport that will transport you all around Melbourne, but best of all great helpful staff - every hotel should have staff like this one.

The Ibis on Little Bourke is a short walk from Souther Cross Station including the Skybus Station from the airport. From there you are blessed with Melbourne's wonderful tram system that will get you just about anywhere. I arrived very late (9.00 pm) but was still able to stroll up to Hardware Lane for a meal. Docklands is also close... More

Travelled by myself for work for 2 nights. The Ibis Little Bourke has a great location, reasonable rates and was clean and comfortable. Decor was a little bit dated but the room was bigger than expected based on previous Ibis locations that I have stayed at. Would stay again.

We stayed at the Ibis Melbourne on Little Bourke Street for three nights in April for a work conference. Located at the end of Little Bourke we found it to be the ideal walking distance to the Melbourne Convention Centre, South Wharf and Casino (where we were attending conferences and after hours diners etc). The room was a decent size... More

Dear Laurena We are delighted to hear you found the hidden gem, and thank you for letting us know about it. The housekeeping team work very hard to keep the hotel sparkling clean. Apologies that the wifi was not always able to connect - I do hope you contact Reception to sort the matter out for you. We look forward... More

Found the room modern and clean. Was given a free upgrade to a queen size bed from a double of which I paid for. Good buffet breakfast served for $17 if paid for at check-in. Otherwise it's $20 upon turning up at breakfast room. Very close to Spencer St so perfect for catching Skybus to airport or country trains.
