The hotel is centrally located, just 2 minutes walk from Southern Cross Station. The room is exceptionally clean & spacious with good amenities. There are lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood and you can hop onto the tram / train to get around the city easily! it only takes 8 minutes from the hotel to walk to the Yarra River... More

I stay at this hotel each time I visit Melbourne due to its locality, as it is so convenient to restaurants, shops, transport and tourist sites. Over the past few years it has undergone a total refurbishment and is now outstanding. Tariff is very reasonable and it is clean, quiet, smoke free and the staff are friendly and helpful. I... More

We had a very friendly welcome on arrival. The hotel is in a very good position with excellent restaraurants close by. The D.F.O at the southern cross station is just a stones throw away. A wonderful Japanese restaraurant was 2 minutes away in King St. Trams and trains are almost on your doorstep too !

Although the location is fantastic, right across the road from southern, I'd rather have negotiated trams to a better room further away. For $250 a night we received the bare minimum. The room was described as "cozy" but come on. The bed was unmade, we didn't realize it until climbing in that there was no fitted sheet on the bottom.... More

Dear Maree Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your recent stay in Melbourne. It is great to hear you found the location very central and accessible. As you mentioned the rooms are cosy and compact. The building has floor to ceiling windows and in the building design these are not able to be openned. Apologies... More

I stayed at the Ibis Little Bourke Street for a week during a conference in November 2014, I found the hotel clean, quiet and excellent value. The staff were friendly and the room was well maintained. The location is along one of the laneways so there are no views, and the room I had, while large enough for my needs... More

really good location for looking around on foot. Close to station and market. lovely breakfast. Quiet, clean, just simply what we needed. Easy to park outside after we collected car to load in luggage. Not posh - just simply fine. Would use this hotel again - reception staff polite, friendly and helpful.

The room and bathroom was clean, and spacious enough (not huge, but not too small either!!). There are a few nightclubs around the area so if you're coming back late, be prepared for some wandering party-goers!!! The air con was good, we left it on when we were out otherwise the room can get a bit stuffy. Only a couple... More

Stayed one night recently. The room was tiny, the view was a grey alley way and the ensuite was cramped. I would have been fine with this if on the website it didn't boast a large room with a balcony. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'm not happy with having paid $249 for such a tiny room. Had the... More

This hotel is very handy and central, just at one end of China town,a few steps from the new H&M. The bedrooms are well equipped but very small ans cramped and we had a view over nothing, where the sun never comes.IE:overlooking the inner court, grey and unappealing. Apart from that, ecxellent location and very reasonably priced for the location.I still recommend it.

Dear Philippe Thanks for taking the time to share your recent experience. We trust you we able to find a bargin with all the shopping options in Melbourne. The hotel rooms are compact and views restricted by the tall and taller buildings going up around the hotel. We hope to see you again soon. thanks Mary Ellen O'Malley General Manager More
