Stayed at this hotel in a two bed apartment apartment on a girls weekend to Melbourne for my sisters 18th birthday with her and my mother. Chose as the price was the most competitive for this type of accommodation in the area. The hotel is close to the tram and within walking distance (10 minutes) of the central city shops... More

We stayed here in Room 610 for one night. We had a medical appointment the next morning so it was the perfect place to stay. The price was excellent with a good buffet breakfast for $20pp. The room was a Standard with two single beds so was not the top of their range. The beds were very comfortable with doona... More

This hotel is a bit tired, but was clean enough and the room was quite large, so you definitely didn't feel claustrophobic like in some hotels. If you like a rock hard bed and thin pillows, then this is the place for you...whereas I'm not so much of a fan. One slightly weird thing was the hand towel that was... More

Had to stay here at last minute after flight cancellation, few things 1. Very easy to book on iPhone in taxi via Accor website 2. Location....perfect for train station ad bus to airport (18 bucks v 60 in a cab). Not ideal for city but, pay 100 bucks less stay here and do the 10 min walk. 3 . The... More

Very basic 3 star hotel, but that's Ibis, bit disappointed in the location, as having an elderly person with me, we couldn't just walk to city center. Staff friendly, professional. Room very basic, looked out onto a building site, so had blinds pulled down.Wouldn't stay for long term. Close to bus station & sky bus to airport, we left hotel... More

Dear Hokimai It is great to hear from you, thanks for sharing with us. The city is certainly a large place if you are walking the eight blocks in length it crosses. Alternatively a quick trip on the famous Melbourne trams will get you around the city efficiently. We wish you all the best with your travels. Many thanks Mary... More

We had a good friendly welcome and a good big bed.The hotel is clean and basic. You need not much more for a 3 night stay. The location is ideal, being fairly central and is close to many restaurants of varying nationalities...Japanese,Chinese,Italian etc.Excellent shopping abounds.Melbourne is a great, safe city with a vibrant feel and is well worth a visit.

We chose to stay at the ibis because of its location. It is clean and a fair deal for the price paid. The rooms are a little small, and there was no view at all, but the staff were friendly and the location was convenient for us.

I have stayed at the hotel before and was tempted back by a TV offer for a room with breakfast for $109 that happened to coincide with a business meeting in Melbourne. The hotel is very near to Southern Cross station where you can get the Skybus to and from the airport. This was my first Accor stay since qualifying... More

This hotel is approximately 200 yards from the Southern Cross Station/Skybus stop. All areas of the CBD are within walking distance. They have an area where you can temporarily store your luggage. The rooms are on the small size, but clean and modern with all the necessary amenities. No free wi-fi in the room, but there was free use of... More
