Rich breakfast included, great advice and assistance given at reception, and they have got bath tubs! Though rather petite ones. ;) Also, very quiet surroundings although very close to the busy CBD. We were very happy with this B&B hotel and can recommend it especially to families travelling with children, as it is safe, quiet and very well-priced.

2 minute walk to MCG. Free breakfast starting from 7:30am. Basic room. No room service. No restaurant. Bad shower. King size bed which you can feel the divider in the middle. Very good air-con. Lucky it's cheap.

My 12 year old grandson and I stayed there for 3 nights to take in the Final of the Cricket World Cup at the MCG. It suited our needs perfectly in that it's location relative to the MCG is pretty well as good as it can get. Security was very good, breakfasts were nice, it was perfect for our needs.

We stayed here in order to go to the cricket at the mcg. Couldn't get a better location for that. Hotel is on a quiet old heritage style street and has some real charm. A mix if small hotel and bed and breakfast. It's a bit on the tired side but the room was clean and great value for money... More

We stayed 3 nights here and booked this place due to the location and price as it also offered off street parking. But be aware it is first come first served for parking and it's very limited. they can not save a space for you in advance. The room itself is pretty average, very out dated and dark. The breakfast... More

Stayed one night 9/3/2015 and it was disgusting. The room was tiny and nothing like what is pictured in the advertising. The carpet was dirty and a powdery substance on the floor near the bed. The bed smelled of body odour and was very hard. The bathroom was mouldy as was the shower curtain and the toilet was broken. There... More

Stayed here for a concert at Rod Laver Arena, good location, walking distance to the sports arena precinct and the city. Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was a good size and the bathroom clean and functional. Lovely to have a window that opens and the area very quiet. The rooms are tired and in desperate need... More

We stayd in the Magnolia Court hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Hotel located very close to the city and you could walk to the CBD in 15minutes. The area where hotel located was very nice, quiet and peaceful (didn't need to worrie about getting robbed in night time). Room: Was clean, little oldish, but comfortable with queensized bed.... Stayed for a long time like 24 days, rooms not as advertised, not boutique anymore, more tired and feeling unloved. Rooms shabby curtains dirty, I stayed in 2 different rooms, moved cos aircon didn't work, first room tad dark, shower for midgets, floor never hovered at all, bath cleaned once in 2 different 15 days, other room slightly better bit... Once this place gets renovated as it perhaps should have been few years back it will be a very sought after place as the location is excellent. The building has good character and is quite inviting, but several things were obvious from the start - maintenance is not a priority which for an old building like this becomes a problem;... More
