Stayed for 5 nights in May. The reception staff were efficient, friendly and helpful both on check in and check out. The room was a good size, clean and the bed comfortable. There is a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, sink and a supply of coffee, tea, sugar etc. The bathroom is functional but is essentially a 'wet room' and I... More

We booked this hotel through a Wotif mystery deal, and was a reasonable price for what was provided The location is pretty good, although access is a bit difficult with heaps of stairs to get up and down from the main roads to it, and no indication of lifts. As a result I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has... More

This was quite a large room for the price. Coffee Tea making facilities, bar fridge etc. Large bathroom. The selling point is the location though, easy access to the city, Southbank restaurants and concert venues such as the Arts Centre and Rod Laver Arena. We had a very pleasant stay, I wouldn’t call luxurious but was clean and well presented... More

Second time I have stayed at this travel lodge for a quick buisness trip to Melbourne. Always found it great value for money and superb location. Rooms are functional and clean. This latest trip I had trouble with the television and 15 minutes after ringing reception it was being attended to. If you are driving park under the Langham hotel,... More

We recently stayed here for two nights. We got this booking through Wotif so only paid $125 per night. For your money you will get a reasonably sized room (standard). Queen bed, table with two chairs, small lounge, coffee table, tea making facilities, microwave oven, bar fridge and sink. Adequate hanging space, iron and ironing board plus a good sized... More

Stayed March 8 (1 night) Hotel – Tower block – it’s not pretty, but who spends time staring at the outside of their hotel? Hotel website - http://www.travelodge.com.au/travelodge-southbank-melbourne-hotel/hotel-features Access – Southbank location, close to the footbridge across the river and only a 10 minute walk to Flinders’ Street Station. The Eureka Tower (Sky deck) is next door, so you have... More

My family & I stayed at this hotel in April over the Easter weekend & felt we made the right choice in choosing this area over the CBD. Being Easter, we sadly found out that a lot of places were closed for the holiday but staying across the river made up a little bit for it. We loved the location... More

Pros - relatively cheap for the pricy location, located next to the river and near the Convention Center and near several museums and the aquarium. The room was ok, reasonably clean. A footbridge is very close by and lets you cross the river directly to Flinders Station for trains and trams. Cons- it is very much a basic no-frills hotel... More

You cannot miss this hotel - it being right next door to the Eureka Skydeck, the tallest building in Melbourne. The hotel is also close to the Langham Hotel which means there is never a shortage of taxis available. Our room was clean, tidy, quiet and had good storage. The bathroom was a good size and the air conditioning worked... More
