I was disappointed by both the service and also the accommodation on offer here. Firstly, the accommodation is not represented well by the photos on the website. (On the other hand the website is very good at making it look a lot better). The room we were given was dark, dingy and rather old looking. For it being a studio... More

Second stay here- last one 7 years ago. Our previous stay was great as a family in a 2 bedroom apartment. However hotel is looking very tired now although we had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious. Main problem was NOISE from Litle Bourke street which rubbish bins being emptied from 500am every morning. Do not get a... More

I booked into quest for new years eve it was all good room was nice reasonable size, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a proper view and nothing to out doors to see the fireworks when the photos I sae lead me to believe there would be, but that was ok I didn't come back till afterwards it... Stayed here Mon-Sun until 21Dec'14 in a 1BR suite. This hotel does not have a porter or luggage trolley. There is a lift, but there are still several steps to negotiate between "Front desk" and upper floor rooms. Not useful for someone on crutches and 2 suitcases and 3 bags. Pool looked inviting, lunch facilities were pleasant, albeit a little... More

Stayed for one night in a studio executive room, away from street. Well appointed, as quiet as you're going to get in the city I think. What a fantastic building! Pool was welcomed as it was warm. Done be fooled, the spa, sauna and gym closed down six months ago, mid 2014. We were offered free coffee vouchers at the... More

Stayed here 5 nights. Two stars – one for the great location and nicely renovated public areas of an older brick building and one for the friendly staff. But that’s where it stops! Ours was a one bedroom unit, bath with shower but no tub, kitchen with basic appliances/utensils for two, and a dishwasher, sitting area and bedroom. Washer and... More

Very nice serviced apartments in central Melbourne. Great atmosphere in the old buildings. Reasonable facilities but not all amenities worked as expected. apartments facing Lt. Bourke Street are prone to noise from street, restaurant nightlife and early morning garbage removal trucks.

I love this building, the brick work is beautiful and the history is very interesting a gentlemans rooming house. Being an old building the ceiling are nice and high and gives a really spacious feeling to the rooms. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was really spacious, we had friends over for drinks in the lounge area... More

Great Heritage building. No lift to ground floor. We stayed in #71 which was the smallest bedroom I have seen in an Australian hotel. You had to squeeze past the bed to get to the other side. Bathroom adequate. Kitchenette small but worked. The front door hit the kitchen bench so you could only open it 45 degrees. I have... More

As many reviewers say - this is a charming hotel. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted at the door by the receptionist who was leaving a note for us as she was closing up. In retrospect - I think she was closing before end of office hours and they did know our rival time. That said -... More
