I searched for some time attempting to find accommodation for 3 people which was super difficult and quest is what I came up with.the place was great.super central, smack bang in China town, pretty close to Melbourne central. Rooms the place was super spacious.it was a little worn which is often the case. Main downfall is the desperately need a... More

We had a 2 night stay in a one bedroom street facing unit on top floor. On entering the apartment it reminded me very much of other Quest apartments we have stayed in over the years. This one had a very spacious lounge/dining/kitchen area with plenty of light from several windows along one wall. Bathroom (shower only) was good size... More

I have to admit i'm confused about this "serviced apartment" business and how exactly that differs from a hotel. The name 'Quest' (which is a national Australian brand) and the tag (serviced apartments') almost put me off! But this is actually an historic building in the centre of the central business district, build in the Victorian era as accommodation for... More

We stayed here during January 2015. It is a lovely building, a welcome change from the bland white walls you usually come across, and the courtyard, terrace and palm tree create a lovely welcome. Our apartment had everything we needed, apart from a welcome pack. The unlimited internet provision was wonderful and quick, ask at reception for a modem. We... More

I stayed at Quest Gordon Place for one night in January 2015 and can honestly say that I wished I could have stayed there the whole time I spent in Melbourne, if only I had discovered it earlier. The building is a charming renovation of an interesting historical premises and the facilities in the aparthotel are second to none. Combine... More

I was disappointed by both the service and also the accommodation on offer here. Firstly, the accommodation is not represented well by the photos on the website. (On the other hand the website is very good at making it look a lot better). The room we were given was dark, dingy and rather old looking. For it being a studio... More

Second stay here- last one 7 years ago. Our previous stay was great as a family in a 2 bedroom apartment. However hotel is looking very tired now although we had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious. Main problem was NOISE from Litle Bourke street which rubbish bins being emptied from 500am every morning. Do not get a... More

Stayed here Mon-Sun until 21Dec'14 in a 1BR suite. This hotel does not have a porter or luggage trolley. There is a lift, but there are still several steps to negotiate between "Front desk" and upper floor rooms. Not useful for someone on crutches and 2 suitcases and 3 bags. Pool looked inviting, lunch facilities were pleasant, albeit a little... More

Stayed for one night in a studio executive room, away from street. Well appointed, as quiet as you're going to get in the city I think. What a fantastic building! Pool was welcomed as it was warm. Done be fooled, the spa, sauna and gym closed down six months ago, mid 2014. We were offered free coffee vouchers at the... More
