For the price it was more than acceptable. Looking for a room close to cbd and dont mind roughing it a little. I hired a family suite , the toilet was close by but you had to leave your room to get to it. Its a step up from camping or caravaning and not that much dearer than a caravan.... More

My friend and i just shared a twin room this week. We booked in here because we had both stayed here in the past some years ago. The hotel has changed hands, for the worse. My single bed was missing a leg,the bed head was not attached to the bed, we got one cake of soap, one facewawasher between two people.Thin... More

We booked this hotel in East Melbourne as it was within walking distance to our destination (The Corner Hotel, Richmond to see 80s band Pseudo Echo). The Georgian is a very old building - at least 100 years old that offers various types of rooms - some with shared bathrooms. Our room, although small, had an ensuite bathroom. Next to... More

We have just got back from a six-day five- night stay in Melbourne and we booked online at this modest guest house. We chose to find a place just outside the busy city of Melbourne and the location was perfect. ust a five minute walk to trams which lead us to central Melbournein five minutes. The hotel staff were very... More

This place was unwelcoming by virtue of the fact that the carpets were filthy and the reception staff were disengaged. That is too busy on the computer to register your presence. The rooms are far too small, eiderdowns stuffed into cupboard, TV hidden away on a shelf so you can hardly see it. With a bit of TLC this place... More

Georgian Court is an old B&B, but it is a lovely building in a great area, private car park, very close to sporting facilities, parks, hospitals & shows, bridge road shopping outlets, etc. A great breakfast with plenty of variety. Also very quiet for a good nights sleep as well as a comfortable bed & pillows.....all in all a great... More

Stayed here on my way from Toronto to Perth. I was pleasantly surprised by both the House and the city. The beauty of this Guest House is that it is in a quiet section of town but close to Trams, cafe sections and beautiful parks. If you are prepared to walk 10 blocks are so, you are downtown. This area... More

We found Georgian Court on the internet. Some reviews were not so good, but the location looked great and the helpfulness of the lady when we called for more information was very friendly. We found a welcoming atmosphere. And we could just walk to restaurants on Wellington Pde. The breakfast was fantastic, served at 7.30 sharp and at 8 on... More

Don't be deceived by the images this establishment posts on the internet. The room: shabby the bathroom dirty (mould in the shower). The air conditioner dripped water on the carpet so we had to turn it off so we could get some sleep. There was a powerboard wedged behind the brass bedbed

I have been staying here for a few years now when visiting Melbourne...and they serve a fabulous breakfast. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. It's friendly, always helpful and can also arrange transport to the Skybus to the Airport. I find for the price it's hard to beat.
