Booked the 2 bedroom appartment for 1 night, drove into the city knowing that the appartment had (what I thought was free) secure parking and we had to drive to the other side of Melbourne the following day. I checked in and just questioned why we had to pay for parking as I thought it was included in the price... more

We stayed for 5 nights recently and booked into a 1 bedroom apartment. We were allocated a front apartment initially which we found noisy at night due to the traffic in City Road. Fortunately (?) we had a toilet that failed to turn off and the Manager Russell, transferred us to a rear facing 1 bed apartment (larger than the... more

This really is a good value for money four star hotel in a convenient relatively central Melbourne location. The rooms are neat and tidy and the bed comfortable with all you would need for a business stay. The full hot buffet breakfast is very convenient and well prepared. the staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The meeting rooms on... more

No problems at all. Friendly and courteous staff. Reasonably priced tarrif. Reasonably priced and adequate breakfast. I enjoy a spacious appartment rather than a hotel room and will definitely return when next in Melbourne. more

Travelled to Melbourne with my teenage daughters to see the Billie Elliott musical and attend a rock concert at the Rod Laver Arena (and shop of course). The Mantra Southbank is in a great location, just south of Federation Square and was very handy to walk into the city centre. We actually walked every where on the weekend, even home... more

Came to Melbourne to celebrate a 2 yr aniversary and the Mantra was alot better than expected. We had the breakfast included and while it was advertised as cheaper on the front desk like another reviewer commented, we thought it was great value - nice food, lots of choice and nice atmosphere and much more convinient than having to out... more

Stayed for 3 nights at the Mantra Southgate for the Australian Open. The unit was ordinary - looked tired and pretty worn. A couple coats of paint would not have gone a stray! Huge construction going on directly behind and we found it to be quite noisy. We paid $420 per night for a two bedroom apartment - was definitely... more

We booked through Mantra website for a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment. When we arrived we were told we were booked into a 2 bedroom corner apartment. I had to question this several times and was treated dismissively until I was able to provide my copy of the email confirmation. There were no apologies etc and the reception staff were very... more

This is the re-packaged version of the Pacific International Apartments, Southbank. It has a new name, and the apartments have had a half-face lift (different colour paint on one wall) - no change to furnishings. Everything else is pretty much the same as the old Pacific International we have grown to know and love. Eg. dishwasher had bits missing, clothes... more
