Stayed here for a conference at the cricket ground, the hotel was in a great location, the staff were very friendly. I was mildly worried when I was allocated the room next to the lift with the bed directly behind the lift but it ended up being nice and quiet. Big rip off not supplying free wifi in the rooms... My first time at the Mercure Melbourne Treasury Gardens - and I'm very happy with my choice of hotel! I normally stay at another hotel when in Melbourne, but I decided to stay at the Mercure for a change. What a difference it makes to have a room with a great view of the Treasury Gardens right in the city... More

Nice handy location close to the CBD, easy walk to Exhibition Street and Her Majesty's Theatre. Very close to Flinders Street Station. The twin room my friend and I had was small, but contained all the necessities, and was reasonably priced. Everything was very clean, reception staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel restaurant is very good, and the breakfast... More

I stayed here for one night. Great location. Check-in was efficient. I was prepared for the room to be small, but I found it to be reasonable, for one person at least. The bed was comfortable. Lots of power points available in the room. Yes, the bathroom is small, but a good use of the space. Plenty of towels and... More

We recently stayed at the Mercure Treasury Gardens with my husband and 3 children aged 3,5, & 8. We were taking them to the Lion King the following day and found this a fantastic location and very handy to the Regent Theatre (10 min walk). The hotel is very handy to sporting locations such as the MCG and Rod Laver... More

well located opposite a beautiful garden and near restaurants and shops. Ask for high floors as the view of the garden is beautiful. Room is big but the bathroom is a wee bit small, even for a solo traveler. Good value for money unless it is the F1 weekend.

Found the room rather on the small side. Lighting was poor and the room quite dingy. Clothing space was inadequate and there was NOT one single draw in the room for small items. The bathroom facilities were good although, again, the lighting was poor.

We were aware that some of the rooms lacked storage and this has since been rectified with a set of drawers being placed in all the rooms. I am sorry that this marred your stay. We hope to see you again one day. Regards Karen Taylor, General Manager More

Found on Spring Street opposite the beautiful Treasury Gardens in melbourne CBD the Mercure boasts a rather bland and unimposing frontage which would be more akin to that of a hostel, however entry via the meagre automatic sliding doors paints a very different picture. The lobby, reception, bar and dining area are all open plan and exude bright lime and... More
