This hotel is right on the edge of the CBD and is a few minutes walk in to the heart of everything in Melbourne, but there is a tram stop right outside so getting around is very easy and no problem (tram takes about a minute and a half to Flinders Street Station). The room are very spacious and luxuriously... more

I used to be a frequent traveler to Melbourne a couple of years ago and always stayed at the Lindrum. I had to go back this year so booked back at the Lindrum. I had a rather officious person (Mirivac is the new owner) do the booking via email and I wondered if my Lindrum had changed for the worse.... more

I went to write this review and saw the last story where someone hated Hotel Lindrum because their breakfast was cold and the staff were lousy. I dont think they stayed in the same hotel. We had a rippa time. Staff were excellent (and I am a resort manager so I know what not to look for) the room was... more

Pricey but still cool. The staff is VERY helpful. They hosted a free happy hour in the bar when we were there and shared some of their favorite hangouts. Melbourne has a TON of hidden restaurants and sights that we would have missed if it weren't for Adam and the rest of the staff at the Hotel Lindrum. more

was dissapointed with this hotel, after spending 2 nights there with my parnter for a mini break, we booked a deluxe room, with breakfast, at $300 per night, so i was expecting high quality of service. reception was clumsy, and disorganised, breakfast was terrible, cold and over cooked, terrible service, dont bother with the breakfast. rooms are starting to look... more

The Lindrum was the perfect place to come to after eighteen hours of travel from New York to Australia. Even though I arrived far ahead of check-in time, I was immediately shown to my room, which was spacious, quiet and dimly lit by well-placed recessed lighting. (That's a plus for jet lag!) The staff was no-nonsense in the best possible... more

we picked this hotel from Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. Access to the shops and eating places was great and it was nice to come back to the hotel and enjoy the peaceful warm atmosphere with the fire and billiard table. Our room on the first floor was well appointed and clean and roomy enough for our needs. We only... more

The Lindrum is handily placed on the quieter end of Flinders St just at the edge of the Central Business District. It is in a converted Newspaper office and while the building is interesting the Lindrum doesn't go far enough to make it a genuine boutique hotel. Reception was efficient and pleasant enough and made our own way to our... more

Booked 2 standard rooms for my sister's wedding. The Hotel Lindrum feels quite intimate and special when you first walk in. It has a small footprint and feels more like a boutique hotel than 1 owned by a large hotel chain. The Lobby doubles up as a bar. There is free wifi on the ground floor and there are 2... more
