We stayed in this hotel on our recent trip to Melbourne. Fantastic location (1 block walk from Southern Cross Station and Airport Skybus; between Bourke and Collins St for main tram routes through the city). This hotel is good value for its location. It is basic - no extra; the room is small - one bed, one table, one TV, one little fridge, and one cloth-hanging structure. For the price paid, this hotel is excellent value. It has been refurbished to a high standard. However, the layout of the hotel is as it was many years ago, with many passageways and windows overlooking the other rooms. Overall, it is very comfortable, extremely clean and the staff are exceptionally helpful. This is not a luxury hotel. More
