The staff were lovely, and so helpful. The room was nice and big, fronting on to Spencer St , just near the Exhibition Centre, with plenty of restaurants around, and even a corner store to buy milk etc a couple of doorsaway. The hotel was bad. The room was small, bathroom had poor light, shower had no curtain, water flowed away from the drain to flood the bathroom yet they had a sign to save your towel to protect the environment. I used my towel to soak up the water standing on the floor! The front desk staff didn't know the city... more

When booking a single room at this hotel make sure you are clear about the dimensions of the room. Room 126 is the size of a dog's box with built- in cupboards around the bed, a desk and a bedside table. All of which don't actually fit the size of the room so you need to move yourself around this... more

Terrific location just next to the free city circle tram and 10 mins walk to free city bus stop. Tram stop right outside hotel is great. 5 mins walk to Southern Cross where Airport Skybus stops. What else can you ask for in terms of location. Room was small (even for Asians) and clean. more
