Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant although it was what we would hope for/expect for the price that we paid (81 GBP per night). Ours was a non-smoking queen room. The location of this hotel is good - it overlooks Albert Park (although not all rooms would have a view), it is approximately 20 minutes walk from the... more

Almost all the staff of this hotel were very friendly and helpful. It is a bit outside the city but the tram stop is within a 5 minutes walk. There is a pool, but it is like the rest of the hotel very old. Although it is old, it was well maintained. The bathroom was above average as regards size.... more

Stayed here two nights on my travels around Australia. I thought that this was an excellent hotel. I would stay here again and would recommend it. The hotel room was very good, clean, and very large, well equipped, and with a balcony overlooking Victoria Harbour, Docklands. The only downside of the room was the view over a car park of... more

Stayed for 3 nights & was totally won over by the efficient staff & wonderful food/room service! A little clean up or makeover would be good someday! Free parking was great & using a GPS, we had no troubles getting anywhere from here! I will certainly bring my family back again! Also great gym & sauna/pool facilities! Great views too!... more

Stayed in a single queen bed room. The hotel is classified as a 4 to 4.5 stars. It provides the usual benefits like shampoo, soap, shavers, slippers. However this does not make a hotel high class. We believe the room was worth 3 stars but reception was 4 stars. The lamp in our room did not work. Food for room... more

Managed to book this room for $1 (!!) in roamfree.com special. Good location, 5 mins walk from the St Kilda Rd tram, which will take you into the centre of Melbourne in about 15 mins! Free parking. Room was very clean, flat screen TV, big wardrobe, nice bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, minibar etc. Spa, sauna and gym on roof were... more

The hotel took us a while to find. It is off a freeway, so away from public transport and street numbers don't really mean a lot. This hotel is on the border between business and residential areas, so there is not much around, very quiet at night. You will be the only person walking in the street after PM peak... more

I stayed at the Eden on the Park in December for Christmas and it was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The food is divine and the location is perfect, a 10 minute tram ride into central Melbourne. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful, especially the concierge. We had a lovely room overlooking... more

Having read some of the recent reviews for this hotel, we were a little concerned - but we needn't have been. Our room on the 5th floor was decent sized, clean with tea/coffee making facilities and a safe. We also had the free WiFi and it worked well. Breakfast was great - the hot food is cooked to order except... more
