Our two bedroom two bathroom apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean located close to the corner of Swanston & Collins Streets. A short walk to public transport and all the main shopping & eating spots. The kitchen had full facilities including dishwasher, plus washing machine and dryer that made for full independent accommodation, although the bedroom layout was a... More

Darling Towers on Collins is a great location whether going into the mall for shopping or heading to Etihad for a footy game. We were able to walk everywhere and if you don't feel like walking the trams are at your doorstep. The rooms are a great size. We stayed in a 2 bedroom as a family of 5. The... More

The best thing Darling Towers has going for is its location. Being just off the corner of Collins and Swanston Streets it's very easy to walk or grab a tram to every point of the CBD. The rooms themselves are a little tired and worn, but have all the facilities you need, especially if you plan to stay more than... More

Access to reception on floor 6 is via intercom on right of entrance door on Collins Street (follow instructions). The cost of room was excellent and location was brilliant your right in the heart of it all. I will be staying there again. My room had separate bedroom, Kitchen lounge area & bathroom. Kitchen was appointed well with Dishwasher. fridge... More

The Darling Towers are central and this place is an easy walk to most of the big places on the grid (i.e., in Melbourne). The reception is on Level 6 of a very unassuming building. It is, as stated, splat in the middle of Melbourne on its main street - Collins Street. Yet, don't let this scare you. It is... More

We had an amazingly wonderful stay at Darling Towers. I had read all the negative reviews previously and decided to give it a go. We wanted somewhere central and closed to Melbourne city. It couldn't have been better! We had the city on the doorstep, in a great street and close to everything we needed to get to. We arrived... More

You get what you pay for and I have no complaints... It is centrally located close to Swanston Street and the Bourke Street Mall... so close to everything that you want... great if you want to walk to a game at the MCG... the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable... certainly not luxurious... but I didn't pay for... Arriving late at the hotel proved messy. The main doors were locked so I had to contact reception to be let in. There were no instructions but eventually I worked out that I was supposed to dial a special number on a specific keypad near the door in poor light. Reception then unlocked the door. Reception was on the 6th... More

I have stayed here a few times now. I love that it's right in the city, close to trams and trains. Lovely clean and modern kitchenettes. Higher rooms are quieter, and the little balconies provide a welcome breath of fresh air that we can't get in hotels around the NT. I had to book a room in a hurry, and... More

The location of these apartments is great. It is situated in the heart of the CBD just a short walk from great shopping and restaurants and theatres. A tram stop is just out the front of the apartments. Our room was okay. The beds were very uncomfortable and the layout of the room was odd. It was dated and worn.... More
