I stayed in the Bayview recently, which I chose based on it's good value ($120 a night) and location. Having driven past this hotel for many years I had never set foot inside the property until my recent stay. Check in was fast and efficient, an older style lift takes you up to the floors which were in reasonable condition,... More

I stayed last Saturday night and was very disappointed. Room small and uninviting. View out to car park. Back after dinner with friends to a party of japanese tourists making lots of noise to small hours of the morning.. car parking expensive at $12. I will not be staying here again.

We were on a 5000 km road bike trip and when the concierge saw me returning from putting the bike in the car park he insisted I bring it to the front of the hotel and park it right in front of the glass doors so the staff could see it 24 hours a day. That is service above and... More

Got a great rate on this hotel on booking.com with an upgrade. Beautiful view from a big picture window in a spacious room although it was a little tired looking needing a renovation. Bed was comfy but shower hard to control . The desk staff were not particularly attentive and we had to wait for a few minutes for someone... More

The room was large but we had a view of the car park. We had consent noise from the air conditioners. Not one of my better stays at the hotel. It does have onsite car park. No free wi fi and the breakfast is not one of the better ones that we have had.

Breakfast options were limited and was not up to the mark. Also rooms were just decent. No shaving mirror in the bathrooms. Safe lockers were not provided in the rooms. Washrooms in the lobby were not clean.

The accommodation was okay, close to transport links. However, the service at breakfast was inconsistent with some days having very poor service. We paid for internet but failed to connect even when we called their IT services. Luckily, they refunded our one week internet voucher. It was winter and we arrived close to midnight. Unfortunately, the heating was not on... More

We were a large delegation arriving for the International AIDS Society Congress. I speak with my own opinions not the official ones of my organisation who paid for my accommodation here. Realising I might need an Australian mobile during the just over a week of stay, I contacted them in advance to see if they could hold on to my... More

My wife and I left room 529 for dinner on the evening of 28.July. When we returned three hours later a mobile phone had been taken from the room. We reported to the front desk and local police within 30 minutes of discovery. Next morning the day manager produced a print out of the swipe card access records which he... More
