Like most 'city' hotels, it had no allure. No view, the room was small and cramped. I found the cost of internet quite expensive and the public internet downstairs was a joke. All in all, it was not a pleasant stay - at most 'average'.

My friend and I booked this for a 3 night getaway because the location looked really good and it was cheap. The room was clean and tidy and they gave us the bed configuration that we asked for when booking. The location of this hotel really is brilliant- literally a one minute walk from some seriously good shopping. The staff... More

A chaotic reception area with efficient staff (but not enough of them) welcomed us. Despite my protest, and although our rooms were paid for by our company in advance, they insisted on a credit card guarantee or 200 buck cash bond. There's a charge for wifi with a tiny download limit. The wifi is also slow! The corridors to rooms... More

My daughter and I chose this hotel because of its location in the shopping part of the city, with proximity to restaurants and other attractions. It was very well priced and comfortable. Only real negative was some plumbing noise in the room.

Hard to write about a couple of negatives since the location is so perfect! Room def outdated, view of a concrete wall, bin collection so loud and the water running thru the pipes as loud as a river running thru the room. However the bathroom was new and the room size was all we needed for a one night stay.... More

Dear Chocbud, WE love receiving comments from a Senior Contributor, though in the case, we're saddened to read a not-so-positive one from you. Rest assured that I have personally addressed your concerns regarding the lack of assistance and enthusiasm from our Concierge team has been passed on to relevant Department Heads to ensure the incident remains isolated. Stayed just one night for business, but that's enough. Pluses are the central location and comfortable bed, but that didn't save it. The room decor was mustard & brown with years of scratches & marks on the walls, frayed damp carpet at the bathroom door, and mould stains on the bathroom walls & ceiling. The aircon was noisy, but had... More

Dear 23KSH, Thank you for your review. I am disappointed to read your feedback after your recent stay with us. I have passed on your comments to our Maintenance Manager & Executive Housekeeper for their urgent perusal. I am not sure if you took the opportunity to advise us of your dissatisfaction on the accommodation provided while you're still in-house,... More
