I have stayed here many times and am never left wanting. Service is friendly an polite, rooms are comfortable and clean and the restaurant for breakfast is excellent. I will continue to stay here due to its great location and better service. If I had to criticise one thing it would be the car-park but seeing as I generally arrive... More

Returning to Melbourne for just 36 hours and found this hotel on Hotwire with a great price. It stated on Hotwire that it was in the CBD, which is not really the case. So I worried a little about getting around and if this would be the right choice for me. It became my favorite place to stay in Melbourne.... More

Have stayed at the Best Western Plus Travel Inn a couple of times now. l love the pool in the centre of the hotel, so did the kids. Was a little disappointed the last time though (which was Feb 12) that the reception staff were not as friendly on check in and check out as the last time we stayed... More

Third stay here and usually for convenience to walk to what I am going to Melbourne for. This trip the Travel Expo at Exhibition Building and around the corner for Italian restaurants. Rooms are not cheap but we had a King Size bed, nice and clean and pre-purchased breakfast online which makes that a better deal. The only downside would... More

We stayed on a Thursday night at a cost of Aus$250. The room was small with a queen bed and a single, desk and two chairs, Wardrobe and small fridge (which was barely cold inside). It had air conditioning and an LCD TV. The bathroom had a shower, basin and toilet. Tea/coffee facilities were available as well as wi-fi (at... More

This is a strange hotel. It's strongest point is that it's the only decent place to stay in this busy part of North Melbourne and has a pleasant and convenient location. As for the rooms they are very varied. The inner rooms looking inwards over the pool are rather dark and have windows which offer no privacy. They seem rather... More

The hotel is updated my room was nice, shower only, comfortable bed and bedding, flat screen TV. The swim pool is small but nice. The doors on the rooms do make a lot of noise when they close this could wake you up. I had no issues with the hotel staff they were helpful. There are many great restaurants within... More

I stayed NYE without time to checkin before midnight and received a call from reception to ensure I was still on my way. The very helpful chap also helped direct me to the hotel from the city (mostly on foot) and then the last leg in the dark from the tram. Beyond the call of duty. Efficient checkin- including a... Have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past few years.... it is very well located in the heart of Carlton - just a block off Lygon Street and the Italian eateries! Walking distance to a lovely movie house - the Nova, which has screens some good art-house cinema. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms,... More

My eighteen-year-old daughter and I stayed here for three nights while she visited Melbourne University. We chose it because of its excellent location, one block from Lygon Street, with all its shops and restaurants, also very close to the University. We were however, to find that there was so much more to the hotel than its convenient location. Despite being... More
