I stayed there a few nights ago for one night and was first off surprised by the $200 bond that was rudely asked of when we checked it. As I booked it from another hotel booking website I was not aware of the bond until we arrived. Furthermore, 4 days after we stayed the bond was not in our bank... More

I stayed at Mint last night and the location was just 15mins from city by tram. The good thing is that you avoid the noise and crowd in the city and the room is quite spacious even though I only booked the studio apartment. The apartment is lovely with a balcony. I thought it was nice to be able to... More

We had three nights at the MInt after one night stay at the Novotel in St KIlda. The apartments are relatively new and everything was really nice including little balcony to sit out on. The trams are little right out the from of the hotel and you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for one to... More

This place is a little out of the CBD or the main St Kilda strip but it is on a tram line (outside the door) and it's easy to get to. The rooms are small but well fitted out with a kitchenette and we had a balcony. Everything is clean and pretty new looking and the staff are really helpful.... More

Good Location, Tram stop outside hotel allowing short ride to either St Kilda or Downtown Melbourne. Good size clean rooms with well equipped kitchenette that include fridge and dishwasher (dish washer tablets included). Nice bathroom with good shower. Washing machine facilities also available in basement. Albert Park is short walk away which has a nice walk around the lake. Staff... More

Just round the corner from Gate 8 at Albert Park, we woke to the sounds of F1 cars screaming around the track. This was a good thing as we were down in Melbourne for the Formula 1. Good location, good secure parking, guest laundry, balcony with a view of the carpark across the street, well equipped kitchen including dish-drawer, the... More

Mint is an excellent property in a great location, cab ride to city only $15, excellent bar and service, especially Verity! i think all rooms had balconies which is great for fresh air, all the comfy things like ipod dock, kettle, desk, however shower very dark due to black tiles, big fridge but empty due to no mini bar for... We too, stayed here for the Grand Prix. Ideal location, though I'm not sure we got the room we were promised. Awoke around 7.30am Sunday to the delightful sound of the F1 cars screaming around the track, but on two other mornings, the not so delightful sound of garbage collection? Not the fault of the hotel, but a 3.00am wake... More

Stayed here for the F1 Grand Prix. Great location within easy walking distance to the track. Had a self contained kitchen, king size large bed, balcony and very good heat pump/air conditioner. Cafe and restaurant next door. Girls on the desk were very helpful. Free Grand Prix trams right outside in St Kilda road. 5-10 minute taxi ride into the... More
