Stayed here for 2 weeks. Staff at the front counter were very friendly and helpful. After an upgrade to our room we settled in to a lovely, spacious one bedroom apartment. Central location for access to trams (outside the front door) straight in to the city or Ackland Street and St Kilda foreshore. Car parking was an issue on a... More

We stayed in a large room overlooking St Kilda Road. It was a corner room so we had a decent balcony and front and side windows, so it was bright (and hot). Air conditioning was pretty efficient, the kitchenette was modern and clean (we only used the fridge), and the bathroom was good, too. The huge bed was very comfortable,... More

Bearing in mind the size of the place, the lack of a forecourt for drop-off and pick-up, reception really needs to be twice the physical size it is, particularly when you get the techno-herd arrivals (who hover around the real humans trying to interact) swaying and bumping into each other as they frantically search for a (non-existent) WiFi connection. Yes,... More

We stayed here for 5 nights over Xmas and loved it! We booked a superior double room which was a good size for us. The bed was huge and super comfy. There was a dressing table, chair and also a table with 2 chairs. The kitchen was a fine size and we managed to cook dinner every day with no... More

We (one couple and a single friend) stayed at this hotel twice, either side of a family wedding. The first time we stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The second time, we stayed in the 'Family Room'. 2BR APARTMENT This accommodation was excellent, with a full kitchen, laundry, spacious lounge and outdoor area. The main bedroom was a good size,... Booked the Mantra after reading tons of mixed reviews on location and quality, and ultimately booked for 5 nights over NYE because the price was decent. Upgraded my studio apartment booking to a one bedroom apartment because we figured we'd splurge. Can't say I was overly impressed at all. From the first moment in the room we felt disappointed. The... More

3rd time we have been here now & for convenience of location, 3kms to StKilda, 3kms to the City, 3kms to Church & Chapel St, easily the best parts of Melbourne. The cleanliness & service is excellent. The best bed we've slept in by far. I will be back again late Feb for sure!

It was a delightful stay, did not want to leave. Views were top class, location was great, tram stopped almost out the front and it went into CBD or out to St Kilda Beach and café areas. Beds were terrific, my son wanted to bring it home with him. Room features were all top class, loved the wall mounted TV... More

We had a really comfortable stay and loved the location of this hotel. A big problem was the parking. So expensive to park on the street during business hours around the hotel and we had to stalk a departing guest to secure their car park underneath the hotel before we could head off to start our day. Everything else was... More
