Thoroughly enjoyed a stay at Mantra St Kilda Road. The accommodation was spacious, with a stunning kitchen/living area and a balcony which had sensational views. The beds were comfortable with king singles? Noted that there didn't seem anywhere for a taxi to drop off compared to other hotels in the area with driveways. Overall it was a good experience and... The Mantra St Kilda Rd is clean, quiet, and modern, although from the outside it looks like an apartment block. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It's not in the CBD but from a nearby tram stop, trams to and from the CBD are very frequent. There is a very good cafe for breakfast, lunch and coffee in the... More

I stayed here for two weeks recently and was very pleased with the service I received. I flew in to Melbourne on an early morning flight and arrived at the hotel quite tired at around 9am. I was expecting to leave my bags and come back later for check in, but the hotel were able to check me in early... More

I stayed at the Mantra on St Kilda Rd for two nights and had the most uncomfortable bed and noisiest fridge resulting in a two nights of broken sleep and a very sore back. I am not a large lady and I can only image how difficult it would be for a man or lady of larger size to get... More

I stayed in a studio apartment for 4 nights in July 2015 while attending a conference in a nearby venue. the room included a comfortable king-sized bed and a kitchen with microwave, cooktop and full sized fridge as well as a dishwasher, so was very suitable for a self-catering stay and the price was very fair for the standard of... The rooms were fine, but not really great for the business travellers, limited space to work from, but good self contained kitchen and good bathroom. The sitting area is minimal, so I ended up working off my knee sitting on the bed. Parking was conveniently under the hotel, but steps into the car park with luggage is not good. Staff... More

Went down for State of Origin and picked this as it's also close to our office. Smaller hotel with only a few check in counters so be mindful you may need to wait around during peak checkin/checkout times. Rooms were beautifully appointed and very clean and modern - great facilities. I would stay here again.

Room was good with cooking facilities. As I was there for a weeke, I used the dry cleaner. My white jumper (new) came back grey - they clearly didn't use clean solvent for whites. My jersey fabric jacket looked like they washed it - it was damp and and crumpled. the hotel took the cleaning cost off the jacket, but... More

A good business hotel which is like a small serviced apartment if your office is in the vicinity otherwise it gets very quiet at night as there is little nearby in terms of dining unless taking a bus or tram down to the city centre. F1 track is just across so either you love it or hate it as during... More

We started at this accommodation for the F1 in March and could not have chosen a better base. We were 5 minutes walking distance from the gate so getting to and from the race track was very easy. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The tram stop was but a short... More
