I recently stayed at the mantra for the weekend with my mother due to a family function in St Kilda. We arrived pretty late and were exhausted from our evening flight and were greeted by some lovely late night staff who made us feel right at home, helping us with directions to for the next day and how to navigate... Stayed for only 1 night, didn't use any additional facilities or the mini-bar. Was over-charged on the credit card for the stay and attempted to clarify and get the over-charge re-imbursed. Took multi phone calls, waiting and confusion and they couldn't even find my account let alone the additional charges Wouldn't recommend staying here for all the extra hassle. Plenty... More

Recently stayed 4 nights at the Mantra St Kilda. The hotel staff were lovely but that was where it ended. The room was tiny and you could barley turn around in the tiny shower. There was a small balcony but there was no way of using it because there was a woping great concrete column running through balcony and a huge... More

Stayed here for 4 night with my husband during the Grand final weekend. The room was nice with a kitchenette (full size fridge). Its fine if your not spending all your time in the city centre but if you do like us the tram trip is a bit tedious.

Stayed here for a night away with my husband. Purchased a Wotif misery deal and ended up being this mantra. Parking was $20 for the night which I feel should have been included. The king bed sagged in the middle so bad it was like sleeping on a fold out couch. The air con light was so bright It lit... More

It was only a one night stay to see the football at the MCG, and after an 8.5 hour drive from Adelaide, starting at 3am we were lucky enough to be able to check in early to a 2 bedroom executive apartment - gee we were impressed with the room. Main bedroom and ensuite were a good size and a... More

Thank you for posting your feedback following your visit to the hotel to watch a football game in September. The 2 Bedroom Executive Apartment that you stayed in for the weekend on the top floor is definitely the pick of the rooms within the hotel with stunning views across both the City Skyline and Albert Park Lake. Glad you had... More

Pleasant little surprise, booked two rooms, stayed weekend. One room was for three people and was quite spacious with a balcony looking onto the neighbouring hotel, full sized fridge, cooking facilities, shower a bit small but over all great value. Second room faced St Kilda road, and was very spacious, balcony was magnificent for people watching and had same amenities... More

We really enjoyed our stay, it was very well priced and a good location for the MCG, City, St Kilda etc. Only issue we had was the connecting door between our studio and the neighbours and the noises we could hear at 2am in the morning!

As soon as you walk in you experience a very funky and welcoming nature, we stayed here over the weekend before heading to a wedding and couldn't be happier with the choice. The staff were fantastic, Chris made our stay very comfortable making suggestions for places to eat and was very bubbly every time I had to interact with him.... More

As an ex-Melbourne couple re-visiting, we know that Melbourne has as much to offer in its inner suburbs as the city itself. The location of this apartment hotel in St Kilda road is RIGHT on a main tram route, allowing you to ride into the city in a couple of minutes (past the concert hall and entertainment precinct) and travelling...
