Hotel itself was nice, room was a good size. Well decorated and clean. The bathroom was not so great, shower leaked whilst using causing bathroom floor to be soaking wet, also tap on the sink was loose. No TV, had to pay to watch. The Hotel was quite far out from the city centre but regular trams run to city... More

Great hotel. Stayed here for two nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. The furniture and fit-out were all modern. Easy tram ride into the CBD. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for a week while on holiday and while five stars is reserved for those "special" places, we could not fault this hotel. Slick and professional service at reception, well-equpped and big rooms, free wifi, and a short tram ride (or nice walk) to the city centre makes this tough to beat. For runners, you can jog straight... More

Stayed at Mantra Southbank for two nights. Weekend away with friends. Stayed in a two bedroom corner room plenty of space although another couple of chairs on the balcony would have been handy as is was quiet warm and was nice to sit outside. Staff were friendly check in and out very easy and smooth. Was a little loud with... More

Originally known as The Mint it has now been taken over by group Mantra. I can only give this a great report as no complaints with any aspect could be found and would without doubt return again. The apartment had pleasent decor, ceiling looked as it was not finished but this was part of the design. There was everything you... More

My partner and I stayed in an executive room for one night. Both the room and bathroom was very small and such a squeeze to even get into and the ceiling was pretty much concrete and for the price we paid it's not a place I'd stay again unfortunately. The only positives I can state is that it was fairly... More

All clothing had to to be kept in a cupboard in the hall. Washer and dryer were in... More

Stayed 2 nights with my partner in Feb 15, 1 bedroom studio 6th floor, overlooking St Kilda road. Check in & check out was quick, service was great, the man at reception gave us good restaurant recommendations. The room was nice and clean, and had everything we needed. (incl. kitchenette, fridge & aircon) The large floor to ceiling windows were... More

Never ever stay there or any other mantra.Staff member when asked for superior to put a complaint male reception staff member replied "you can send the complaint to me. He was the manger on duty that night. Our reply to that was why would we want to send a complaint about you to you?... More

My parents and I stayed here on out recent trip to Melbourne. Located on a number of tramlines, this provides a great base for trip to the city, without the hustle and bustle of being based in the centre. Self catered, the kitchen is well equipped, though there isn't anywhere walking distance in order to do any shopping, so make... More
