We stayed at this hotel for only one night in June, 2014. The staff was night. The apartment itself was tiny but nice and clean except for the dirty windows. The hotel is located in the city centre and the rooms looked pretty new. We booked this apartment for $120/night (it was on sale) but I wouldn't pay more for... More

We stayed here during the Australian Open. When we first checked in we had a bit of a glitch - we arrived at our room only to find someone else in there (fortunately the people already there were not in flagrante delicto). The check-in staff were extremely apologetic and upgraded us for our stay without our asking. Our one bedroom... More

We are currently staying here on business with added on Australian Open attendance. The City Tempo is located conveniently near public transport and is only a short walk from Elizabeth Street, with lots of shopping and dining options. Since these are serviced apartments, the IGA Supermarket across the street is great for basics although for more substantial groceries, a larger... More

My room had a queen bed, a 2-seat sofa and coffee table, a desk & chair, mini kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, electric stove big enough for 2 pots. Crockery & utensils provided. But no clothes washing machine nor dryer. The attached bathroom has a frosted glass wall but you could see-through despite the frosting. OK for immediate family, but totally... More

Everything was as advertised on their homepage. Taxi from Airport ran around $45. Studios feature kitchenette. Bathroom is small but modern. Everything is in walking distance, from shopping, nightlife, river, CBD, Chinatown. Friendly staff.

This is my third time staying at City Tempo. The staff are excellent, the rooms well apointed, location is good, just a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Right beside Queen Victoria Markets. My tip is get a room with a balcony,

Very comfortable hotel. It is right on the CBD, close to all amenities and landmarks. The room we stayed in had modern appliances, was tastefully decorated, it had a decent stove, microwave/grill, dishwasher and even a washing machine/dryer to wash our clothes which, after 2 weeks camping was a big bonus! Being the CBD and me being a light sleeper,... More

Exceptional service from management and staff members on arrival and departure, as well as help and advice on our stay in Melbourne City (places to go, trains to catch etc). Clean and comfortable apartments with everything you could need for a short stay. our 27th floor apartment had a great view of the city and Victoria markets. Close walking distance... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week and found it very comfortable. We had a balcony studio apartment. As I had read other people's reviews regarding noise, I opted for a room with a balcony in the hopes we would be situated higher up away from the road. We were on the 13th floor and could hear no car/road... More

Stayed for 2 nights at a great price. Booked in swiftly by a cheerful member of staff, which always puts me at ease about the accommodation, first impressions and all that. Good security, you can only use lifts with room card. The room was of a good size with tea coffee provided and even had washing up liquid for automatic... More
