We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms looked brand new (the dish-drawer was a bonus!) and up on the 22nd floor it was nice and quiet. One thing annoyed me though and that was the lack of free WIFI, the hotel is generally good value but at around $200 a night I was... More

We needed a hotel for the AFL grand final and as we were booking late in the week we had to pay the higher prices of Melbourne hotels. Citadines is located in a good area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was adequate for the three of us with our daughter sleeping on a roll away. However... More

It is very conveniently located in the heart of the city with Chinatown a stone's throw away. Our deluxe studio was very spacious and clean - very good value for money. We were told that there is no housekeeping on Sundays, which did not bother us. Be aware that there is a nightclub at the ground floor of the hotel... More

Stay here 2 or 3 times a month. For the price it is hard to find a better location and quality. I was so impressed with this simple hotel that I have since organised for all my staff to stay here when visiting our Melbourne office. Two things could be improved, 1. better breakfast ... For the price there are... More

I stayed at this hotel 25th September '12 and was plesenatly surprised from the moment I hit the front desk to the moment I opened the door on the spacious room. The hotel is ideally located for my business and the rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable. There were only two things that I thought were a little unusual.... More

I stayed at Citadines on Bourke for four nights on a business trip. First of all it's not a fully serviced hotel so there is no minibar or any other luxuries that you would expect at a five-star hotel, so it's important to take this into account when you book (i.e. it may not be appropriate for a romantic getaway... I have a thing for clean, functional and modern hotels and this was perfect. Location is awesome too, there's a Russell/Bourke Tramlink stop literally right outside the door, and this hotel is in perfect proximity to all the major shopping/eating areas on Bourke, Swanston and Collins St. I stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with 5 people and... Citadines is a reasonably new apartment hotel on Bourke St, two blocks from the Bourke St Mall (5 mins walk). The room rate was very competitive given the location and facilities. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable but the pillows were like "pancakes" The main downside to the stay was the buffet breakfast in the restaurant (Heirloom) attached... More

I purchased 2 nights accomodation in this hotel on a accomodation websites "mystery " hotel. ie; didn't know which hotel it was until after I had paid online. Although I had never heard of Citadines I already knew the location was perfect, right on Bourke street, 1 block north of the mall ( aka the shopping) The receptions staff were... More

This hotel is great value for money. Located in central Bourke St there is a tram stop right out front and plenty of taxis day and night. You are walking distance from the central malls and shopping areas without being right in the craziness of it all. There are also plenty of great dining options around so really everything is...
