We stayed in a 2 bedroom executive apartment and while the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms large and functional there was nothing special about this place. It's well located on Bourke St with a tram stop just outside. We had to pull up illegally out the front to offload luggage and race inside to check in then drop our... More

I travel to Melbourne fortnightly on business and usually stay 1-2 nights. Citadines is my Favourite accommodation in Melbourne. Rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. The location is fantastic. I travel back and forth to Clayton each day, and I find it's quicker to get to Citadines on the South eastern than it is to get to Glen Wavereley... More

Stayed for three nights with my wife and 6 month old - very happy with the accomodation. The rooms were clearn, the bed was comfortable and the check in was easy and quick. This is a great choice for its location being closed to the city centre and china town - would definately stay here again. Thanks!

A 3 minute walk to Bourke St Mall, hundreds of restaurants to choose from and friendly staff make this a great place to stay. Free trams outside the door, the gym is ok for a hotel and a 20m lap pool. Free wifi is great, rooms are not huge but mine had a couch and desk. Staff were very friendly.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights and overall it was a great stay. Stayed on the top floor which had partial views across to the botanic gardens and could see the hot air balloons first thing in the morning! The apartment was exactly like in the pictures, everything was very clean and well maintained, the walk in shower was one... More

If you are wanting to stay in a central city apartment in Melbourne whereby you only have to walk to central locations and/or catch the free tram outside the door then the Citadines is a great place to stay. We liked the location for the following reasons: * SkyBus collection point is across the street so you dont have to... More

Since it was our daughter's wedding in Melbourne that day we spent a few days either side and changed our long term habit of staying on the city fringe. We have never stayed in the middle of Melbourne when driving down from the country and despite the unjustifiably expensive cost of parking under the hotel - in a largely empty... More

The Citadines apartment / hotel enjoys a great central location and the room (with kitchen) was lovely and well fitted out. A highlight was the uninterrupted city scape view. I'll definitely stay again.

This was our second stay. On arrival the room we were put in smelt like a Chinese kitchen. No disrespect I love Chinese food but I don't want to smell it in the room I am going to be in for 4 days. I did ring down to reception and was moved to another room, thanks for the no fuss... More

Booked into a room that smelt like a chinese kitchen. Then after complaining was moved to another room. I love chinese food but don't want to sleep in the kitchen. Everything was impregnated with the smell. The other room was very good although the build up of dust on the sliding door to the bathroom had to be seen to... More
