I stayed at the Blackman for one night in July 2014. It is located not far out of the CBD, on the way to St Kilda, which was perfect for me as I was spending time at both locations. The hotel is located a 10 minute and very easy tram ride to the CBD and is simple to find. If... More

This hotel lives up to its "Art Series" name. This is a stunning looking hotel from the inside out and the colours of the room are beautiful. $5 tray charge for room service, not cool. I don't see how you can justify that charge. Besides that, this is a lovely hotel with fantastic service, nice location and beautiful rooms. The... More

I stayed here for 2 nights. This was my first stay at an Art Series hotel. I enjoyed staying here. The staff are lovely and accommodating. The room was nice, clean and well maintained. The bed was super comfortable. From a travel perspective, there are trams operating nearby though, it can 15-25 minutes to get right into the CBD. There... More

This lovely hotel has a welcoming ambience as soon as you enter the premises, with two restaurants situated on both sides. My room on the 9th floor is large, tastefully decorated and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchenette is an added bonus. Public transport easily accessible on St Kilda road. A perfect place to relax after a... More

Everything about the Hotel is unique I would say. The layout at the Lobby area, elevator and also the rooms. My son was a little freaked out by the "Face" on the bathroom door and needed a little assuring before using it - but other than that, it was great. There was a little kitchenette which was convenient to heat... More

Loved our room. Two double beds separated by the bathroom area so felt like we had two rooms. Peace, privacy and two separate televisions. Two restaurants in the foyer area and close to tram stop. Not in the heart of the city.

Stayed over the weekend for two nights in a twin room. While I cant fault the decor and comfort of the room, I was on a lower floor and had a view of the apartment block next door. It wasnt great and made the room quite dull with little light, but thankful I was only really there to sleep. The... More
