Stayed at Melbourne Central for 3-nights with the 3-day wired deal. Great price and clean place! Staff were all really nice and friendly, I was in an all-girls room and they were all really nice and great people. Glad I chose Melbourne Central YHA to stay, I recommend it for sure! The only thing is that there was construction outside... More

a great place to stay. you can meet a lot of people on the rooftop, the rooms are clean, the bathrooms new, the kitchens maybe a bit small but that's alright and very friendly staff. i did the party-tour on thursday, what was fun even when the bars were not the best. i think the location is very good, i... I came down to Melbourne for a girls shopping trip away. Had a fantastic stay at the yha. Reasonably priced, right in the city centre, really friendly staff and lovely clean bathrooms! Definitely recommend to stay here!

Decent hostel but very expensive. $45 a night at weekend. Bunk beds are quite wobbly and not very secure. Very good kitchen facilities and laundry. Nice roof terrace and you can byo beer which is nice. Very helpful staff too. Salingy I think was very kind.

There are two YHA in town. This one has a better location. Only five minutes away from souther cross. Rooms don't look impressive but recently refurbished, especially toilets and bathroom. The open air patio is pretty good. Staff are friendly too.

I was in the three room female only room. It had one bunk and one single bed. I was on the single bed which was comfy with supplied sheet, duvet, pillow. It was a bit squeeky tho. Bathrooms were clean. Location good - inbetween Spencer and flinders stations. The lifts were broken so lucky I was only on yhe 2nd... More

Awesome location ..bang in the heart of the city. Can easily walk to the MCG & Docklands Stadium ..for sports & music concert fans like me. The free tram is right next to the door. The staff was good & friendly. The rooms are a bit crammed, but it didn't bother me.

I stayed for three nights in a 4-bed male room recently. Check-in was great and smooth with the very friendly folks at reception. I was fortunate to be on the first floor with reception but the bathrooms on that level were undergoing renovation which necessitated going up a floor. This was, unfortunately a bit of a hassle as you have... More

The staff was cool, and the toilet- and shower-facilities were both clean and modern. The room however was pretty dark and very hot (no AC), and the bunk bed made a squeaky sound. Also the locker underneath the bed is pretty narrow, and will not fit a normal bag. Wifi only works in the common areas, and you have to... More
