Melbourne is a nice city to be in but not nice to look at... this sums up this hotel. Standard room, boring view but walk out the door and a nice cafe in a nice alley way with well priced food which is much better than the hotel. If your not spending much time in the room then its good... More

Stayed 4 nights and had 2 rooms with king beds. Hotel we perfect for our first trip to Melbourne. Free breakfast was a big hit with my parents. Hidden gem close to all things cbd. The laneways are great. Bed was comfortable and the front desk was always accommodating and I would stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a Deluxe King room over the Easter weekend. Room was clean, however needs to be updated and brightened up, felt a little dark & gloomy with furniture & lack of wall art. Extra pillows would be good to have in room. Good selection at breakfast with different breads, spreads, pastries, cheese slice, cold meat,... More

Centrally located, this hotel offers outstanding, cheerful service. It is close (100 metres) to Melbourne's inner-city transport and within comfortable walking distance of trains and buses and the riverside. Outside the door is a good selection of cafés, with quality restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well set up, the price is reasonable and the breakfast... More

We stayed in this hotel for almost a week and the location was unbeatable. It was on Little Collins Street across from David Jones and very easy to navigate undercover through shops and arcades while it was raining. The rooms aren't anything amazing, but it is an extremely good base if you intend to be out and about. I wouldn't... More

The rooms were spacious and it was great that a microwave, fridge and kettle were supplied. The room and bathroom were also very clean. Location was fantastic, close to many trams going in various directions. Also was walking distance from Southern Cross Station The complementary bag service was also great since we didn't want to be carrying around our bags... More

Went to Melbourne for five days with friends and stayed at hotel it was central to everything. Walked most places and anything else tram was on corner. Breakfast was supplied and was lovely. If you wanted hot breaky cafes are just out the entrance. Staff were helpful with any tours. Rooms clean and good size. Would stay again.

Tucked away in a non descript laneway in Melbourne and a bit difficult to find. One of the three lifts not working - irritating because everytime you called the lift, the non-functioning lift came and you had to send it to the basement and then call a lift again. Added a few minutes to the exit/entrance procedure. Rooms were comfortable... More

We caught the Skybus from airport to town (AU$30 return) and decided the hotel looked like an easy enough walk from Southern Cross Station - it was a nice downhill walk taking about 15min. On arrival (friday early lunchtime) we were excited as there were lots of cafes down the alleyway that you access the entrance to the hotel, all... More

When we were dropped off at the Hotel by the shuttle ( taxis are about the same price for 2 persons) we wondered what we had let ourselves in for. The entrance to the hotel is some 30metres down an alleyway and the reception desk is not particularly imposing either. However we were pleasantly surprised by the room we had... More
