am a local and staying in town for the night. This hotel fit the criteria; location, price and quality. Location great - trams on doorstep, less than 5 min walk to trains, and Bourke street shopping, not too mention the great restaurants Melbourne has to offer. Price, I paid $158 for a twin room (#471) and the rooms were clean... More

Four of us spent 2 nights at this hotel. And even though it's rated 4 stars, 3,5 is all we could rate it at. On the arrival one twin room was ready, the other wasn't. We had to wait for it. Then as it worked out rooms were on different floors, even though booked in one name. One of the... More

We spend four nights at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and nice. We had breakfast included and it was great to see the dining room open till 10, since we are not early risers. And the hotel is very well situated, you are within walking distance of everything. We had a great experience, some of the reviews we read... More

I have just had a couple of nights here and will return. It is right in the middle of Melbourne CBD. The lane way the hotel is located on is full of great little cafés for breakfast and lunch. The main shopping area is also a block away. We had an upgrade to a spa suite which was roomy and... More

Stayed at the hotel with my wife since location wise its amazing. We had booked a spa suite to relax for the weekend but got the elevator shaft instead. Staff was unable to move us even though we brought it up within 5 minutes of arriving. Room 521 was ours for a sleepless night on a bed that was meant... More

Hotel is good. Clean and comfy in good location. Good value. Their wifi charges are absurdly high. Their breakfast is a ripoff at $15. Half a dozen great cafes next door will give you great meals for same price as this hotel gives you toast and cereal and tasteless coffee. Dont be fooled. Walk 30 seconds. Otherwise, good place to... This hotel is in a great position, very close to Elizabeth st and very handy for shopping and to the Arts centre and train station. The room was comfortable, but could have done with a bit of cleaning in the bathroom to get rid of the mould. Breakfast is only $15, but not very interesting. The room was very quiet... More

Given the location and the price it’s difficult to complain too much. Room was quiet, sheets were clean, shower was hot. Scratch below the surface and you’ll find worn-out furniture, views of concrete walls and pretty basic amenities but nothing skanky. It’s hardly the Intercontinental and its definitely not a romantic holiday/big occasion hotel … but if all you need... More

We were very unhappy with the accommodation, in short it wasn't a 4-star hotel and we wouldn't stay there again. Given the cost, it didn't meet our expectations - there are other options available that are the same price and better. Service * Room not re-supplied – Upon arrival we had to ring up for soap and towels. * Unhelpful/unfriendly... More

A small hotel in the heart of Melbourne cbd. 3 ladies on a shopping trip I a triple room. The rooms are large and we had plenty of space, the bathroom is huge but could be better equiped no hanging ,drawers or benches. It is a good budget hotel and the price is good. Comfy beds, small but well equiped... More
