Stayed for 1 week and me and my friend really enjoyed our time here. We had a bunk bed over in the corner so had lots of our own space to do our own thing! 16 dorm was a little too much at times met some lovely people but also some annoying people who would put the light on at... More

We only went downstairs to the 3th floor to check in and out. This hostel makes you really feel to old for this "b.s" to stay in hostels. People screaming and being loud 😩. Luckily we had a 2 bed dorm. The cleaning is up to part. They are mopping the floors twice a day and they sweep the bedroom... More

Flinders is pretty darn cheap by Aussie hostel standards so don't expect too much, but there are some positives. Location is great, heart of the city surrounded by food/coffee/retail/tram and train station and about 20 minute tram ride to St Kilda beach, which is OK but nothing to shout about. The showers are also OK but the dorms are tiny.... More

I was in a private room in the 5th floor. Very quiet, clean, had ensuit and double bed. Great for a short stay and Shane at reception was really funny and lovely! Makes all words sound beautiful with that accent :) lily from 501

Hostel has good location, WiFi but you have to pay for it but you can go to happy travels downstairs for free WiFi. Free breakfast, free tea & coffee all day. Beds are comfy with a decent pillow. We stayed in a four bed dorm with two friends as we requested. Kitchen and fridge are a good size also has... More

We stayed here a couple of nights ago before flying out. The hostel itself is alright, big tv room, big kitchen, lifts, free breakfast and right in the city. Our only problem was how thin the walls were. We had our own private room on a floor which also had 20 something other rooms, all you could hear was the... More

First of all, I stayed in a 16 bed doorm, so take that in consideration! Stayed here one night and I didn't dislike it, it was just too crowded for me. The breakfast was free, you could get free wifi downstairs, lockers in the room and okay bathrooms - it's a good hostel but it was way too big for... More

I arrived after midnight so the glass door was locked and i was not able to enter or contact the reception (didn't have a local sim at that time) until some tenants came out from the elevator and unlocked the glass door for me. facilities are average but i am glad i had a clean bed to put up a... The location of this hostel could not have been any better- close to everything you could need! (Sights, the free tram, supermarket, etc.). Also, breakfast was free and the place has a movie room, pool table and a bar. However, it got really loud at night, so if you are looking for a quite place- this might not be the... More

The few good things about it are its location, the lovely staff (one extra star for them - would've been 1 star otherwise) and free breakfast. Otherwise hygiene is lacking. Bathrooms and toilets smell. The walls are paper thin - I could hear the couple next door fornicating. The ventilation system makes a weird whirling noise constantly. Failed to control... More
