I had a very comfortable room at the back of the building, so it was quiet. When I first arrived I was given a room on the ground floor right on the street - the staff were kind enough to find me a quieter room, even though this meant a fair bit of work on their part. Room was modern,... More

My partner and I were really impressed by such a quaint yet well-decorated room. While it is small, the studio apartment really has everything you need. The hotel is in close proximity to the MCG, Bridge Road shops, trams and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Will definitely be staying here again!

This is my second trip to Quest East Melb, and again I was really impressed. We the room had a black and white decore and was very clean. We were able to walk to our concert at Rod Laver Arena and didn't have to struggle with stupid card machines in the lift. We will book here again next time there... More

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the studio family room #3. It was spacious with impressive furnishings. However no matter how many nice cushions and space a room makes, they don't make up for the most incredibly noisy surrounds & total sleepless night. It was awful particularly when travelling with 2 young children. All night we were awoken to... More

The hotel was alright, friendly staff and good service. However, it can be noisy at times during weekdays when the trains and trams come by. Also, there's quite a strong bleach smell in the bathroom and on the bed linen.

My first impression of the room was "wow" A modern sleek elegant black and white creation. There were 2 hotplates, a microwave, a fridge and it was well supplied with cooking equipment. However the shower room was extremely small and there was no room for toiletries. The biggest problem though was the noise. We were on the ground floor and... More

I stayed here twice recently for work. Both times my room was clean and comfortable, everything worked and, most excellently, the staff were really friendly and helpful. I cannot fault this place and would stay here again.

We were looking for somewhere close to the tennis and found the Quest with in walking distance of the MCG as well as Rod Laver arena etc. The hotel was reasonable priced and had been recently renovated. Being an old building, I'm guessing they had to stay within the existing plans of the rooms, the bathroom was quite small but... More

We came to Melbourne for the Australian Open tennis. This hotel was in close proximity & I cannot think of anything bad to say. Although the hotel was fully booked on our early arrival, the lovely reception girl allowed us access to a room being cleaned so we could change our clothes for the day, once we checked into our...
