This little hotel is situated right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, with a convenience store just across the lane from its doorsteps, and minutes away from Melbourne Central (train station), Emporium, Bourke Street Mall ...etc. The hotel is a bit outdated, but the bathrooms have been done up, and the beds are comfortable enough for if you just... Great location but it stops there. Rooms are small and need a refit and a good clean up. Small TVs and a lot of street noise. In saying that the bed was quite comfortable. No parking and a walk to a nearby car parking station which is quite an expensive extra.

The real selling point of this hotel is it's location. Right in the middle of Melbourne CBD, all you need is within walking distance. Our room backed onto the rear of the restaurants in a nearby lane, and my only critical point of this hotel would be that, due to the windows being only single glazed, there was a lot... More

This room was my worst nightmare. Filthy dirty putred smelly little presents left by mice. The smell made you fell sick. First time I have ever checked bed for rodents and stains. Booked 2 nites. If could have got another room for first night would have. Booked out at 7 am next morning. About 3 hrs sleep.

First of all, the location is excellent. And as long as your not a light sleeper, you should get through the noise ok - Friday night was particularly noisy, Saturday night less so, but do remember you are in the middle of a late night eating and entertainment part of a major city. The rooms are basic - we stayed... More

A little secret garden in Melbourne, in the middle of Melbourne CBD, was perfect, the cost of the place is responsible and the room and just what I expected, neat clean and retro 1970. You are in walking distance to everywhere in Melbourne. We walked to the arena and all over Chinatown and the arts distract, just perfect.

The location is excellent, right in middle of Melbourne City Centre and is very reasonable cost. Everything in Melbourne centre is within walking distance. Room is small but very well designed. Very comfortable bed, desk, eating table, well stocked kitchenette. Wooden and tiled floors and very clean bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Many restaurants just around the corner, EzyMart... More

This hotel has prime location in the city, and for the price nicely appointed. That said however the street noise was so intense my wife and I forwent our 2nd nights booking just to get some sleep. My wife and I arrived to find a small room with what appeared to be 1950's wall to wall window, as thin as... More
