From the moment we drove in the long drive and being greeted by Michelle we knew this was going to be a wonderful break. We were not disappointed. We were in the Loft Cottage which was spotless and had great character. The whole property is on about 15 acres of manicured lawns and gardens ( about 5 acres of this... More

We booked 4 cottages at Brigadoon with a large group of friends and family. We needed a base for a wedding nearby and the cottages were perfect. Each one was beautifully finished, with thoughtful touches including fresh local flowers. We each had our own private space - but the other couples could drop over for a coffee or glass of... More

This Christmas saw our 10th Anniversary of staying at Brigadoon. For us to have stayed there every Christmas and on other occasions as well, obviously it appeals to us. Why??? The hosts (Michelle & Edward) are very friendly and welcoming. It seems that nothing is too much trouble - if there is any possible way of makiing your stay better,... More

Tullamore Cottage is a great little place to stay if you want a family getaway. Everything that you need is inside the cottage and the owners, Edward and Michelle, are just a delight to deal with. The grounds are just gorgeous. We packed a ball and spent the afternoons kicking the footy and running around, or going for a bush... More

We returned to Brigadoon Cottages for a corporate stay of 7 weeks. This time we stayed in the 2 bedroom, single storey cottage ‘Tullamore’. It is a small completely self contained cottage which is quaint and has everything you need including internet. The cleaning standard was very high, everything is spotless. The rooms have black out curtains which are great... More

We stayed one night at the cottages and appreciated the owners hurried to get our cottage ready early as they had had a big group staying previously, so only had a short turn around time. It was extremely clean and tidy but was very cold. This was fixed by the newly laid fire which soon got roaring. They also had... More

We have been to Brigadoon many times over the years and we have just enjoyed another very relaxing weekend. The cottages are extremely well equipped and comfortable. Ed & Michelle's hospitality was once again superlative. Their location in Newborough is central to many of Gippsland's activities and there are a lot of good pubs / restaurants nearby. We plan to...
