My family stayed at Hobart Apartments in January. Our travel agent had tried to book us into some apartments closer to town but being January and peak tourist season hadn't managed to do so. Maybe alarm bells should have started ringing that this was one of the few places that had vacancies, although it wasn't cheap, and even my gps system had trouble locating the place, mistakenly directing me to the other side of what is essentially the main highway into Hobart.
The place is uninviting from the outside and the manager does his best to make you feel like you're impinging on his valuable time by wanting to check into your room.
The 'grounds' are unkempt - there were tree prunings that had been left on the footpath to the carpark that remained there for the entire length of our 4-day stay.
