We arrived in hobart with no reservations, so was the only hostel we could find - a terrible mistake. There were more 2 guys in my room, one backpacker and the other a crazy australian who I supposed was living in the room for a long time. He spent the night playing on his computer, doing noises and using both... More

The hostel is kinda open, the walls and roof doesn't close completely which makes this a really cold hostel, I was here in November and it was so cold in the common are and kitchen at night. Rooms are okay, which there was windows that could be opened to let in some fresh air. This is the coldest place I've... More

Went here on Thursday night early with my family and had a nice quick meal. It was prompt, hot and good value (for Hobart). It does get busy and noisy later on so go early with a family. The outside and decoration could do with attention as it lets the area around down.

I paid for four nights, stayed three. There was a homeless man who obviously knew staff didn't check the building in any way when they locked up because he would go to the top floor around 8.30 and sit in the hall way, at about 10 he got his sleeping bag out and went to sleep. After two nights of... More

Given they ask guests to review on Trip Advisor, here it is. Charming building, but no maintenance. Perfect location, but not for nightlife. Clean sheets, everything else quite dirty. Day staff people are kind, evening staff people are a sheer nightmare. Costs just a few dollars, but isn't worth. Worst backpackers place I have been.

standard for any backpackers' hostel. NO hot water during the first day of my stay which was terrible. Staff was not so friendly and appear uninterested. No filtered drinking water for guests. however, downstairs get quite lively in the evening with the live band performance. Location is easy to find and close to city attractions in Hobart.

If you are in Hobart I highly recommend to visit the Brunswick Hotel, one of the oldest pub hotel of Australia. Nice atmosphere to hang with friends specially on Fridays and Saturdays, when it's full of beatiful people

Very central with grocery and bottle shop less then 1 min away. The rooms are what you expect for 25 bucks. I would not go as far as calling it a hotel. It is a hostel, and mainly occupied by backpackers. The bar is good with live music sometimes and good staff. Worth it? If you are on a budget,... More

Stayed in mixed dorm for two nights. Excellent location, just opposite to Wellington Mall, there is a supermarket inside the mall and you can get your grocery in a very good price. People are very chill out in the hostel. Food in the bar is a bit expensive and I prefer getting my own drinks and food from the supermarket... More
