Good location with a short walk to Salamanca and Hobart CBD. Room was clean and well appointed. Mini bar has the most realistic prices I've ever seen and the internet access is cheap too. I will be staying again when next in Hobart. more

We stayed here 2 nights and found the St Ives overall, very good. Our main disappointment was the smell of everyone else's cooking floating into our 1st floor room (garlic!) and we could hear people in adjoining rooms talking and snoring! Well situated, quiet, and with spacious rooms, this is 5 minutes from Salamance Square, and 10 minutes walk to the Centre of Hobart. The Wrest Point Casino is a delightful stroll away, past Sandy Bay and the Yacht Harbour. Very good value. more

Stayed here overnight for a business trip in Hobart. Last minute price on thier website was the best price. Room has been recently renovated and was very clean. Bed very comfortable and good shower. No opening windows although there was a small balcony with a door that could open but let all the bugs in a night if you wanted... more

We found the staff very helpful and the rooms very clean and a good size. Not far from anything and easy to find and very quiet which was good for me as I suffer with sensitive hearing. more
