I stayed here recently for a work trip for five nights - needless to say, I was hoping for a little better than I've experienced recently with the average business hotel. I need not have worried as the Clydesdale was excellent in every way. The manor is beautiful to look at - an old gentleman's mansion that has been carefully... More

We booked to stay at Clydesdale manor for one night on our last night in Tasmania. We were in Strahan on the west coast the day before when I received a text offering us a free upgrade to a spa suite with balcony, which we gladly accepted. We didn't arrive until 6pm the following night but let ourselves in and... More

Very stylish room, we stayed in one of the king suites. Elegant furnishings and although a little squeeky, the bed was very comfortable and with soft, cuddly pillows and duner. Bathroom was very clean and modern, toilet didn't flush properly, had to flush a couple of times for all the paper to disappear. Breakfast was lovely and served by chatty... More

A truly gorgeous building and wonderful place to stay. It has been renovated beautifully giving it both old and new aspects. We had a lovely time relaxing in the spa and also by the fire sipping on the provided Port and Fudge. Great location, within walking distance to a variety of different places to dine and also the Casino.

On arrival you let yourself in, pick up your key and find your own room. No one to greet you and show you around. In fact no one on site until the morning. This proved to be a problem because my luggage didn't make it on the plane and we had to sit for four and a half hours waiting... More

The Clydesdale Manor has been tastefully restored and a lovely example of a vintage upgrade. The staff are very helpful and friendly and keen for you to enjoy your stay. It is also very clean and well kept. The issue we encountered is they are not on site post certain hours and as such unable to ensure guests are not... More

We stayed at Clydesdale Manor for 3 nights with friends on a recent trip to Hobart. This is an outstanding property in classic 1870's style rooms most tastefully decorated with modern bathroom ensuites, air con, heated bathroom floors, bar fridge, ironing board & iron, and wi-fi. Full breakfast cooked by Diana. Property is part of a group with about 5... More

Clydesdale Manor is a B&B in a recently renovated old mansion. The seven rooms are spacious, some bigger than others. All have modern ensuites, flat screen TVs and are tastefully furnished. Breakfast is served in a beautiful sunny room and adjacent is a comfortable sitting room with a fireplace, complementary port and chocolates in the evening. Breakfast was great with... More

On arrival at Clydesdale Manor there was no-one in. This was a little disconcerting until we had a phone call later in the afternoon to check that we had received the code via email to get into the property. Unfortunately, I had not read this bit of the email but once we had the code we were on our way.... More

Beautiful hotel close to Hobart city. Its like an old manor, rooms are beautiful, tall ceilings and great bathrooms. Breakfast is served each day (before 9:30 so no sleep in) and they are cooked for you as you arrive in the dining area.
