It was ok, on the upside very clean, comfortable and modern with nice finishes. Proper coffee in the room was great. Although we enjoyed our stay in Hobart and the apartment was very convenient it wasn't quite as good as I hoped it would be. It was a special occasion and I just wasn't blown away. Maybe my expectations were... More

Recently, we stayed at the Salamanca Wharf Hotel. We found a quirky little hotel adjacent to the central Salamanca area of Hobart CBD. Modern amenities (includes parking in a car stacker), escape to a balcony and a very short walk to the Salamanca Markets, shops and restaurants. We loved it and will stay again.

I spent 2 nights here last week.. Easy late checkin process, great self contained apartments, wonderful location with plenty to do, see and eat nearby. the small cafe downstairs serves a good breakfast if you don't have breakfast supplies too.

Excellent accommodation in a great location. Perfect for a couple or family with one child. Within walking distance of all Hobart has to offer on the wharf precinct. Great food in the eateries dotted about the wharf. Stay there.

After a day out we got back to the hotel to find ourselves locked out as our keys weren't programmed properly, it happens in the best of hotels but the only negative comment I would make is that the number provided on the wall for after hours is for security who comes and let's you in after going through your... Damian, thank you for your feedback. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay in Hobart. I'd like to respond to your concern re any after-hours response times on issues such as needing new keys cut. We are nearly always able to have staff arrive at the hotel after hours within 15 minutes. If our guest needs to go out immediately... More

We booked through a travel agent in July this year for a romantic Tasmania winter get away. The photos all looked great and we were happy booking into a loft penthouse. The small reception area was kind of cool and the carpark had a car lift where you drove your car into with the room number. We went upstairs and... More

Spent new years eve at the restaurant. Lovely staff very professional and friendly. Buffet style meal with plenty to choose from much more relaxed than lining up for the taste festival. Close to wharf to watch fire works after dinner thanks for a lovely night

I come to Hobart regularly and wanted to try this new place on the wharf. It's more like a serviced apartment. We checked in anonymously because Saturday reception closes at 5 - they give you a code and your keys come down a Shute - all worked well although you cannot access the car park until the following day we... The Salamanca Wharf Hotel is our new fave in Hobart. It is super modern, very clean and offers a high spec accomodation exprience in Hobart. The location is nice too, down in the Salamanca Wharf region. The linens are lovely, the attention to detail with cleaning and placement of furniture is wonderful. It can be a tad noisy with the... We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy the best of Salamanca and Hobart. We do encourage our guests to drink Hobart's water, which we enjoy straight from the tap, but we also provide Apani bottled water in the fridges if guests would prefer a filtered, bottled water....
