Beware everyone!, long gone are the days where one could get a good counter meal here. I cannot understand how anyone could say that this place is romantic. The unit had not been cleaned. Light fittings broken . The sheets had been slept in. All in all the worst hotel we stayed in our trip to Tasmania. more
Affordable and comfortable, the Cascade Hotel is my favourite place to stay in Hobart. The 2-bedroom apartments are unbelievable value. Clean and comfortable. The management is friendly and the pub next door is fantastic for a meal and a drink while mixing with the locals. It's about 2.5km from the city centre but the bus stops right outside the front... more
