Has everything needed for a stay in Hobart. Especially if spending time in town and on the cheap. The room was well maintained and clean. The man at the desk was very welcoming and even told us where the best free parking was. There is even free wifi in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again.

It's cheap, clean, basic and in a great location. Best of all the owner/manager is the most friendly person you could hope to meet. If you're out exploring Hobart and the surrounding area then there's no real need to pay a fortune to stay elsewhere!

Right near the centre of Hobart and next door to the amazing Shamrock This hotel offers good basic accommodation at a very reasonable price. Derek is the hands on owner and is extremely helpful genuinely kind and attentive (I saw him feed the meter for a guest who had overstayed on the on street parking outside so that they would... Greeted by a very happy and chirpy owner. Rooms are small but clean. Comfortable bed, wifi only available in foyer, no lifts so be prepared to lug your bags upstairs. Its a good location not far from the attractions of Hobart's CBD.

Service is good. Very clean. Derek really tries. He did all his best to support us. Possibly the best hotel at a cheap price in city center. Close to all the amenities, including good restaurants and transportation.

The hotel is in a great location, only being a few minutes walk to the CBD of Hobart and the Salamanca markets. The staff, particularly the manager Derek, were extremely friendly and helpful. It is good value for money with clean and spacious rooms.

Derek is a star. Hotel is clean and free toast, cereal and coffee in the morning a bonus. If it's just a room you need and cost is an issue this is an excellent option. Derek came out after midnight to check in fellow guests delayed by late flights

Service of the man is good. He really tries. He stayed up when our flight was late and arrived two hours later in the hotel. But after three nights we are not rested at all. Beds are poor, rooms have no curtans so it is very bright when sun comes up. Too bad, but not advicable to stay here.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Hotel may be a bit outdated but staff/ manager was extremely helpful and very friendly. Each morning our table was set for simple breakfast (cereal, toast & tea/ coffee).
