Nice location close to everything. The parking option is excellent $6 a day. Food is average. But the noise at weekends is a bit to much. Tansor to the airport didn't turn up though taxi is a safer option.

Weekend getaway with friends. Quad share - 2 separate rooms. Fully self contained apartment. Great spot for MONA ferry and Salamanca markets. Lovely breakfast included. Bit of noise from night club on the Friday night - but not too excessive - still fell asleep.

Close to everything - perhaps a little too close to the live music on a Friday and Saturday night - but all goes quiet at a reasonable time. It was so enjoyable to return to this well located base from our Salamanca market and MONA ferry adventures. You can choose to eat at the very nice restaurant attached to the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights early in the week and found the waterfront room average but comfortable. The location was great easy walking distance to Salamanca, the waterfront and city centre. Having the bar and dining down stairs was handy and the meals were good. Nice choice of breakfasts included in tarif but watch out for extras which are not... More

This nice waterfront location (border of Salamanca Place) was perfect for a family outing - and they accommodated us at the last moment. Scallops terrific, deserts yum. I had traditional corned beef with excellent mustard sauce - really brought back some memories - Nice and middle of the road.

Being students we booked the cheap rooms for Friday and Saturday night. When booking there was a very small warning saying these rooms may be a bit noisy. THIS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. Music was blaring so loudly. The entire room shook with vibrations making it impossible to be in there. The website states the music finishes at 12 30 this... More

A lovely Friday night and 12 friends catching up for dinner . The venue , Customs house restaurant . I have never eaten here before but have favored the bar on quite a few occasions . The staff were friendly and numerous . we were explained the specials and the fish of the day and left to peruse the menu... More

While on our honeymoon in Tasmania we stayed here for one night, and one night too many. The reception staff were incredibly rude and full of attitude, the hallways narrow, the carpets were badly worn and torn, and when we did finally find our room, through the maze of hallways, was small and old. The room was placed under a... More

Family room, sleeps 4. Bathroom very small. Breakfast choice excellent. Restaurant good except for one surly Irish girl. Noise Saturday night was too much for sleeping. Pity about the waitress we saw every morning.

This hotel is very convenient to Hobart's waterfront, the city and Salamanca. Breakfast is included in the tariff and. There is a wide choice and breakfast is served in the hotel's cosy historic restaurant. Staff are very efficient and helpful.
