The hotel is on a hill with an outdoor parking lot. It is very well maintained with and small but lovely grounds with fountains and flowers. The Lenna is a worn out second rate highrise Motel in a great location with a bad superiority attitude. They advertise as if they are a "Quality Old World Charm Hotel" the only thing of quality is the way they charge. Great location, about 100m from the Salamanca markets. The hotel is clean, the staff attentive and helpful, the food is fresh and tastes great. Overall, it was worth staying here and using it as a base from which to branch out of Hovart on day tours. more

The Lena is a good, clean and high value hotel. The rooms are older motel style with functional furnishings and a functional bathroom. After a few business trips to Hobart in the last quarter I was sick of the noisy mid-city hotels. Lenna might be a few dollars more expensive, but peaceful and the view looking out over a nearby park & the Derwent are beautiful.
