A well kept/restored heritage property. The owner was quite helpful making suggestions for our stay in Hobart and further travels around Tassie. A hearty breakfast was included and enjoyed by all. The lodge has a cosy lounge with tea and coffee making facilities plus a decanter of port for guests to mingle over. We had a comfortable night sleep and... More

This heritage property in North Hobart delivered in spades. The room was great, as were the hosts, and the complimentary continental breakfast was more than adequate and of great quality. The host recommended Amici restaurant nearby for our evening meal, and it was so good we went twice for our 2 night stay. On street parking was the only drawback.

Highly recommended. Well appointed, comfortable period furniture. Rooms were large and airy with lots of natural light. Large guest lounge. There is also a beautiful garden. The location is only a short walk into town and the harbour area. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have enjoyed. Jeff and Julie were the most gracious hosts; helpful with... More

This was a great choice for our winter weekend away,Welcoming host -Jeff-was very helpful. Room was cosy and the hotel full of character, the guest lounge great for meeting and chatting with other guests. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range, and plentiful, really sets you up for the day. A real treat, since it was a chilly weekend, to return... More

A great place to stay. Charming building, well located, 5 minutes walk from excellent cafes and restaurants in North Hobart, and 10 minutes from the water. On a main street but very quiet. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating and eager to help. Breakfast is included and is a nice spread to get you going in the morning. The complimentary... More

We had a wonderful time at The Lodge. The room was large with high ceilings and the bathroom great with a strong shower. We parked on the street but were given a sign to put on our dash that warded off the parking inspectors. Jeff and Julie are really great , very knowledgeable about Tasmania and the local Hobart sights.... More

Beautiful Heritage B&B and Jeff and Julie were fabulous hosts. We had a great nights sleep snuggled with the electric blanket which we needed. Great choice for breakfast and seated in a beautiful room. And also great hospitality with port, tea, coffee, hot chocolate in the lounge. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

This was our second stay at the Lodge on Elizabeth. We always stay here at the beginning and at the end of our holiday to Tasmania. It is comfy, cosy, central to everything just a walk away. The most important thing to me is the service and I am never disappointed. Jeff and Julie were gracious hosts, nothing is ever... More
