Shortly after landing at Hobart airport we checked in at the Lodge on Elizabeth. Jeff met us on arrival. Every day he was there to help us about places to go, what to do. Rooms, breakfast, jacuzzi everything was fantastic what more can I say, except Jeff's wonderful sense humour which addition to the delights of this place. If you... More

Such a friendly proprieter! Quaint heritage B&B. Small room and cramped bathroom, but with good value. No air conditioning, due to heritage status have to leave window open and Warwick s noisey at times. Super covenient to restaurants e.g., Roaring Grill and many others. Nice lounge and good breakfast layout.

Jeff is an amazing host and our time in the Cottage was a highlight of our vacation. He helped us get the best out of Hobart and Tas. Internet connection is problematic but understandable. Great location, just walking minutes from downtown and great food opportunities.

We spent 3 nights in this delightful B&B in Hobart. Jeff met us on arrival and helped to carry our luggage in before showing us around this charming old world lodge. Each day he gave us great suggestions on what to do and the best way to get there. His suggestions for lunch on Bruny Island were much appreciated as... More

Just got back from 5 nights in Tasmania and stayed in the Lodge on our last night . Wish we'd spent more time there as although the other places we stayed were very good this was the best. On arrival Jeff made us feel very welcome and offered suggestions as to the best things to do. The room was excellent... More

Impeccable, well equipment rooms with its own bathroom. Wonderful living room with free tea, coffe. Excellent location. Nice gardens. In 15 minutes by walk you're in the harbour. Lots of restaurants close. Great breakfast in a dedicated diving room

What a wonderful, charming and relaxing B&B. From the moment we walked in, Jeff and Julie made us feel welcome. This place has a beautiful old world charm with attention to detail. The breakfast Buffet was fantastic and if you came in late at night there was coffee and tea facilities in the lounge area (even a jar of marshmallows)... More

We stayed here for one night. The host was so welcoming and very attentive. There were loads of lovely touches including a gorgeous sitting room ans garden which we could access. Location was great and the room was beautiful. Would love to visit again.

Care and attention to rooms and helpful advice was impeccable . Short 10 to 15 mins walk to Hobart Dock and centre of town. Loads of selection of restaurants, cafes and inviting pubs with food and music in close proximity up and down Elizabeth street out front. Rooms and continental breakfast very good plus comfortable lounge area to sit and... More

The lodge is perfectly situated for people traveling by car and nearby lots of restaurants. We stayed for three nights in a nice and clean room, with a rather small bathroom. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We got some tips on the way to Port Arthur and Mt Field NP. There was ample choice at the breakfast buffet.
