The Hotel is in an excellent position, close to the Elizabeth Mall and to the Waterfront, as well as the main attractions. The room is comfortable, even though it was a bit cold. Take advantage of the SPA at the groundfloor. Hotel recommended also for romantic weekends.

Currently staying here on an overnight business trip. Great location for business and wandering around salamanca. The apartments themselves are a bit tired. For some reason my entire floor (including my apartment) smells like a Chinese takeaway joint. Great at dinner time. Horrible when trying to sleep. Kitchens and bathroom toys and functional. Pay internet is a rout (but then,... More

I rate this hotel highly but have to knock back due to luggage and parking. Parking is in a carpark 500 mt away and luggage cannot always be dropped off at the door due to parking restrictions. THe hotel itself may be old but it is in good condition and the rooms were large and very comfortable. The bed was... More

Easy access to Salamanca area and the mall. No on site parking is a mild irritant BUT 2 blocks away you can park for a cut rate as a patron of the hotel. Dropping off luggage can be difficult as the road outside offers no long term parking. If you arrived by yourself it would be difficult to leave the... More

This is a really good hotel in a top location, at the Salamanca end of the mall. Large room with kitchenette and good size bathroom. The staff were really good. There's no onsite parking but a parking station a couple of blocks away which they give you vouchers for. My room didn't have an external window which I'd ask for... More

I stayed at Quest Savoy in October 2014 and found it to be a brilliant hotel. It's not a large hotel, but this little gem offers everything you could need. The hotel is well situated in the heart of Hobart within walking distance of all CBD attractions and transport. The receptionists are friendly and helpful, my room was clean and... More

Stayed here on business. For my usual one night stay, I'm not really fussy. I get in late, sleep and check out. The Quest Savoy wouldn't be on my recommended list. One thing that is important to me is a window - by this I mean I want to be able to see outside the property. I don't really care... More

Have stayed several times in recent weeks, and will stay again. Very well placed in the centre of town, so access to eating establishments is good .Friendly and welcoming staff who are very helpful make the experience a good one. Rooms are spacious and generally comfortable, and very well appointed.Try to avoid adjoining rooms if traveling solo, as the noise... More

I recently stayed for two nights with a work colleague. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until around midnight which was after reception hours. The owner stuck around after hours to check us in and he was very friendly and welcoming. The room was neat and tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only... More

Right in the CBD it's easy to get around on foot. Close to most Hobart attractions. Large comfortable room though a little dated. I had room 301 which has no windows to outside. Avoid 301 etc for this reason. Easy transport to & from airport right outside. Inexpensive and good value.
