We stayed at the Lake Pedder Chalet for two nights in total and it was the best thing we ever did on our stay in Tasmania. rooms were small but definately value for money. Nothing flash, but was warm and clean. The scenery in this wilderness is spectacular–craggy mountains reflected in calm lake water, full of fish. Bushwalking, rock climbing, fishing.. it's all here. the staff was wonderful and a great night was had in restaurant/bar. Kitchen staff were very accommodating. good wholesome food and there... more
