We stayed here in June and had a wonderful 3 days. The cottage was roomy for us as a couple, very clean and well maintained. The walk down to the beach at Stokes Bay through the rock tunnel was amazing! Each evening we came back to find a mob of kangaroos grazing on the cliff top paddock just outside our... More

We stayed here in July 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We go to see kangaroo mums feed their joeys right in front of our cottage! The owners are gracious and we would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed the weekend on Kangaroo Island at Waves and Wildlife. The cottage was great value with amazing views! Very peaceful and relaxing. Would recommend bringing your own food from the mainland, as well as definitely visiting Paul's Place right down the road and owned by the same couple.

Paul owns this place and Paul's Place. I suggest you cook your own food as there are limited restaurants in the and it takes a while to drive to various places. Paul was very generous and when we realized we needed breakfast, he brought over eggs and other breakfast items. Waves and Wildlife had lots of kangaroos and wallabies on... More

The views are absolutely beautiful on the hill. Kangaroos are everywhere. Easy access to a beautiful beach and the pathway through the rocks is gorgeous. Stayed in one of the lovely one bedroom and very spacious cottages. Staff is readily available and very friendly. Already booked our next holiday here. Love it here on Stokes Bay.

Now with a bitumen road from Parndana right to Stokes Bay, makes access much better. No dirt roads (if you don't like them) Stokes Bay is my hometown, so I have a soft spot for it and it's still great. Loved the cottage, great views, the cottage had everthing we needed in it. We even had an awesome welcoming committee... More

We stayed two nights and loved the cottage and location. The nearby beach at Stokes Bay is a gem (only accessible by a tunnel through huge boulders). The cottage had vast space, was clean and comfortable with great views. No wifi or phone coverage (which may be part of the charm for many visitors).

My husband and I returned to K.I. after 40 years and Stokes Bay had a special place in our hearts then and now to able to stay at the cottages it was more than we could ask for just as we remembered the views the sunset life doesn't get better than that a home away from home was the feel... More

We stayed at Waves and Wildlife in February 2013 and I still remember it fondly as one of our most memorable holidays ever. Comfortable cottage with an amazing view, cleverly arranged such that one isn't really aware of the adjacent cottages (which are far enough away to ensure peace anyway) and the evening visits from hundreds of kangaroos silhouetted against...
