We stayed at the campground behind the hotel for a few days. The park is in a great location and a few minutes walk from the main area. The camp ground itself could be improved as no camp kitchen apart from a sink at the back of the park. It is dusty and the caravans are parked closely together, however... More

We enjoyed staying at this Park, amenities very good. No water to sites, but can be purchased across the road next to Info centre. Very friendly staff and helpful. Caravan Park part of the Opal Inn Hotel, and while we didn't try the dining room, the food seemed reasonably priced. Can walk to the town from Caravan Park.

Stayed here a few times in the rooms, my last stay was in the campground in a tent. Not much grass and a little noisy with the trucks but wasn't too bad. Showers are clean and pretty good, it costs 20 cents for four minutes to use the shower. $18 for unpowered but you get a 10% discount at the... More

Older style rooms but excellent value for money. Price includes continental breakfast served in the dining room and a cold beer. Rooms were quite clean. Staff polite and friendly. My only bit of advice DO NOT take room 29 only because of where the room is situated the air con simply cannot compete with the heat in this room because... More

Nothing special about this motel. Bed seemed comfortable enough and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, noise from next door and upstairs carried through walls. House keeping seemed a bit slack - had to speak to front desk on more than one occasion after house keeping had failed to do something. Meals ok but again some were better... More

We stayed 2 nights to/from Uluru. Clean and quite. I had issue with first family room on ground floor (found couple cockroaches running around...) but got room change to first floor with no problems. Overall comfortable place to stay in the red centre :)

Hi Agnes Thank you for your honest review, occasionally we encounter difficult situations such as “cockroaches” unfortunately on this occasion our preventative measures were not effective. Thank you again for choosing to stay at our property Amo Brokken More

Price good and restaurant food good, however due to warm weather the Airconditioner was too small for the room and only cooled the room to a good temp by 3 am or so, not a good nights sleep so not good for long drives. I will choose another venue during summer months.

We stopped off here for a one night stopover in a campervan. The powered site was great for us and with wifi available (worked best close to the reception area) it fitted well. Reception was open til 9pm so there was no problem arriving late after a big drive south. The area was quiet so we had a good sleep.... More
