Friendly and attentive hosts, quiet location, undercover parking, well appointed B&B with pool, barbeque etc. Very interesting experience. Good breakfast, bathroom and laundry. Close, but not too close, to Coober Pedy township. Asked for recommendation for eating out; Italian Club was excellent as was the main pub in town.

Even though out of town a bit it was well worth staying in a very safe and quiet environment. Unit is very homely, warm and comfortable. The breakfast supplied by Rose was a good starter for the day. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. Alex had promised to take us out to see the opal mines... More

We wanted to stay underground whilst we were in Coober Pedy but were travelling with a lot of gear in the back of our ute so wanted to stay somewhere safe. We were recommended Down to Erth as it is in a quiet and secure little spot and only 5 minutes from town. We were not to be disappointed from... More

I am so happy to have found this B&B while searching for accomodations in Coober Pedy. I looked at other places, but this is the ONLY place where you get real attention and a true, wonderful "underground" experience. Rose and Alex have thought of everything ! From laundry, to cookouts, to breakfast items, to internet service and cellular service, to... More

Plenty of room for my family of 5, friendly hosts, clean, excellent underground experience. Good outdoor barbecue area and plunge pool. Lovely continental breakfast. I strongly advise you to stay at this safe haven, just out of town

We spent two nights in Coober Pedy at this lovely apartment. There was so much space and we loved the underground feel of the apartment. A massive lounge area with couches, tv, games, and desk. The free WiFi worked really well. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom with spa was well set out. Thanks to our wonderful hosts... More

Big lounge room, two bedrooms and even a washing machine! Nice makings for breakfast were supplied too, We could not have asked for anything better. And it's run by very nice people. Coober Pedy itself is a bizarre place and well worth visiting.

Great place to stay underground in Coober Pedy - a bit out of town but excellent quality accommodation with a full size sitting room. Also has a small kitchenette and dining area and washing machine. A great plunge pool and barbecue area add to the package. The quality and attention to detail that the owners Alex and Rose provide is... More

Had a lovely 2 day stay. Rose is a friendly and helpful host. Interesting experience staying in a dugout. Coober Pedy is a unique place with an interesting history. History society's database at the information centre is a good place to learn about the town as well as their history trail. All the churches are beautiful. Rose's fruit compote and... More
