We took an overnight stop on our way to Uluru. This lovely B&B looked very promising on the pics online and had only positive feedback. And what a great place it is! It’s a bit out of town (5min drive at most) in the Opal Mining area. It is an underground Hotel, which makes it very special. We didn’t know... More

After 4 weeks in a tent we had planned on treating ourselves to a room in the Underground Hotel in CP, but fellow travellers suggested a B & B. We are so glad they did! We were welcomed at the door by the very Hospitable Rose who showed us around. Our underground apartment had everything we needed, plus a few... More

Really enjoyed our 2 days in Coober Pedy and the Down to Earth B&B really helped to make it a special experience. Sleeping in an underground apartment is a unique experience. It was built/carved out with a B&B in mind so it is set up nice. The temperature is a constant 24 degrees C. It has a kitchen, a large... More

We spent two separate nights here on our way to and from Uluru. As we arrived the first night, and followed the sat nav into a quarry, we were apprehensive to say the least... However, it took us through some gates to be confronted by citrus trees in fruit and a very warm welcome from Rose. The accommodation is beautifully... More

This was our one night of luxury between 7 nights in caravan park cabins and 8 nights in a swag with camels in the desert. And it truly was luxury even without the contrast between it and the cabins which became more basic as we drove further north along the Oodnadatta track. The welcome from Rose made us feel as...
