Now under new management as the Bank Street Motel it has recently been completely repainted inside in a fresh white colour. The room was off a good size and clean and functional. Staff were friendly. A good choice for a budget stay in Adelaide. Close to the casino, railway station, entertainment precinct and rundle mall.

I stayed in Adelaide for a few nights on a business trip. Upon Arrival most of the staff were friendly and patient. Which is a plus. The Lifts are VERY OLD. the room felt more like it was Industrial with the panelling on the ceiling. The Room itself was very very dated, it was very clean though for what it... More

If you are looking for a place to stay for just a day or two in the heart of town, and you don't mind the grotty carpet, then this place aint too bad. The rooms are very basic, old worn out furniture. The staff are nice but the location is fantastic. So close to cheap eateries, Adelaide oval, galleries and... More

Most of the staff I had contact with were pleasant. The lift carpet looked like it had been used as the public toilet. The floor I stayed on was being prepared for a much needed face lift. The room - air conditioner did not work, shower constantly dripped and the shower curtain had mould on the bottom of it. The... More

I don't know what people are complaining about. It's not five star, however it's comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had trouble tuning TV, they tuned it in without griping. The motel is oldish and musty, it's not too bad. Excellent for people on a short trip like footy finals.

The rooms are disgusting. They need a good clean, dust dirty, I have never felt so in clean staying in a hotel before. I wouldn't even give it a one star rating. The rooms a very noisy, constantly woken up by the street noise. There was an odd smell in the lifts. I didn't feel secure at all. The tv... More

Well the title pretty much sums it up. We ignored the really bad reviews thinking it couldn't be that bad....stupid us because it sure was! I don't even know how this place is still functioning and hasn't been shut down by health inspectors or anyone along those lines! I've travelled all over the world and stayed in some dingey places,... More

I've worked and traveled around the world for over 30 years and I can't remember a worse hotel. The windows haven't been cleaned since the building was built - about 50 years ago. The furniture is hand-made MDF which is so old and swollen with damp and mould it's a bacterial paradise. The toilet was broken. I didn't even sleep... More

Get what you pay for;this was the best option for its location and price. Sturdy furnishings, functioning smoke alarms, and unlockable windows are all great features. Staff at front counter happy to source anything you require. Great experience, would stay again.
